Shep Smith Belongs On CNN
FOX News

Posted on 04/14/2006 12:29:31 PM PDT by davidtalker

This guy is on there now talking down the war effort. Talking down Rummy. Telling his guest (General) "this Administration wants Americans to believe Saddam was responsible for 9/11." This guy is so transparent. He's better off in "The Situation Room" with Blitzer and Cafferty. Touting the six retired Officers calling for Rummy's head. Shep is just trashing the effort. Drama Queen.

I stopped watching the ninny after his performance during Katrina.

I still cannot understand his hysteria. Apparently, the silly boy thought he was in a docudrama with Meryl Streep and going for Oscar for The Most Hysterical Broadcast Devoid of Fact rather than merely reporting.

Back when the Senate inquisition was concentrating on the New Orleans levee breaches, John Gibson made a wise crack about how Michael Chertoff would have known about the levee breaches if only he had watched Shep. I watched Fox and the Weather Channel and didn't notice either one reporting levee breaches until the next day, so I almost threw my remote at John's picture. I think the problem is that most anchors are just lazy and accept the liberal propaganda because it is easy to do.

If he were a real dog (canis familiaris), he could be very enjoyable to watch. Unfortunately, he's not.

LOL...I DO watch it also..but every week I wonder why Fox won't put at least one "real" conservative on there.

LOL! Nothing wrong with Cal Thomas. Although I have disagreed with some of the things he's said, but for the most part, I like him. I kinda miss his Saturday night show. Neil Gabler is a left-winged horse's a$$. LOL

No need to apologize for anything.

You made a very good point about the media's unfair attack on Cheney and Bush using a phony issue, so I added some facts to back up your statement.

There are liberal journalists lurking at this site, so they might learn a couple of things about how unfair they are to the President and Vice President. Your statement should be repeated:

I think the the closest Bush or Cheney have ever come to "linking" Saddam and 9/11...was when Cheney was saying that that sort of terrorism is in play in Saddam's Iraq as well as with Bin Ladin..

I may be wrong, but I don't think either have directly linked them...just like they have NEVER said that Iraq was an "IMMINENT THREAT"...which is another false statement the left keeps perpetuating.

Well, there certainly isn't any chance that anyone will think that FNC is too conservative on the weekends! All three of the weekend anchors on Fox & Friends are libs. You've got big-time lib Julian Phillips, pro-gay, pro-Hollywood agenda supporter Kiran Chetry and the just as liberal Alisyn Camerota. Fox has absolutely ruined the weekend show with these nitwits. Julian keeps boasting of his Christianity, then goes on and on about his Mercedes and other material goodies, while Kiran and Alisyn confirm for us on a consistent basis that their morals are in the toilet. If Fox could add Shep to the weekend crew they just may cause CNN to shut down on Saturday and Sunday mornings.

I stopped watching Shep's shows a long time ago, especially after his repugnant bias during the Terri Schiavo case. He thinks that he knows it all. A very arrogant man.

Hey Txsleuth,
Smith put on a good show in NOLA for the anarchists. Shep was sooo scared some Bros might kick his liberal whiney cracker ass to sleep.

P.S. Include whoreraldo also in this scared liberal NOLA incident.

Smith needs a new career with either the BBC or Al Jereeza.

God Bless America,
NSNR

Shep Smith "thinks" he was a star during Katrina. His reporting at that time just showed how hysterical he got during a difficult time.

His "performance" today was disgraceful. But, Gen. McInenerny (sp?) gave it right back to ole Shep and he did it with dignity.

I stopped watching the ninny after his performance during Katrina.

You gotta admit his interview with the guy walkin' his dog was pretty funny.

Shep: Why are you walkin your dog?

-Long pause-

Guy walkin his dog: None of your f***in' bidness!

Shep: WHOA! There ya go, this is live international TV folks!

Of course the expletive wasn't bleeped out, as it was live TV.

And CNN is actively looking for the generals who will bash Rummy on camera.

I agree with you..but with Geraldo, one expects that because he has always been over dramatic, plus that was his type of show...

I thought that Shep Smith's shows were supposed to be about the news...not HIM making himself the news...LOL

Have you ever watched Geraldo's new show on the network Fox stations? I ask, because I have not, not even once.

LOL! I didn't know about that. Good on Shep.
I don't pay attention to him and rarely watch his show.
Too fluffy and casual for my liking.

I have heard that he's tall and that he chain smokes cigs.

John Gibson has on retired General Edwards...

Gibson's first question: "There are a LOT of retired Generals that are blasting Rumsfeld, aren't there?"

Edwards starts by talking about how poorly Shinseki was treated by the "civilian leadership"...

Okay, now he is complaining about Rummy's job...great.

On my satellite dish, it comes on at either 4:00pm, 11:00pm, or 4:00am, depending on the FOX affiliate. I haven't seen it. I got better things to do with my time:

1. Watch Brit

2. FReep

3. Sleep

ROTFLMAO
