Tucker Carlson Ditches Bow-Tie For Good
MSNBC ^

From the 4/11/06 edition of his yack show.........
CARLSON: Well, if you watched this show before you may have noticed that I look different tonight. Im not wearing a bow-tie. This is odd for me. I have worn a bow-tie on television every night for the past six years and for 15 years off air before that, since I was in 10th grade.
I like bow-ties, and I certainly spent a lot of time defending them.
But from now on Im going without: no ties at all.
I didnt lose a bet. It is not a political statement. I didnt ditch the bow-tie in protest or in solidarity with any oppressed group. Its not a ratings ploy but decided. I just decided I wanted to give my neck a break. A little change is good once in awhile, and I feel better already.
So to all three of you who watch this show for the bow-tie Im sorry. For the rest of you who dont take a position on neckwear one way or the other we now returned to our regularly scheduled programming.

Unfortunately, at this point, eliminating the restriction that inhibited the supply of oxygen to his brain for so many years won't make the least bit of difference.

That would be different for sure.

I didn't hear him announce that bit about the tie, but when I saw him on Matthew's program, my only thought was "he's going casual tonight?"

No. Tucker's married (to a woman), has a son and three daughters and is a conservative in New Jersey, which takes balls.
If he were smart, he'd get rid of that Goofy Max Kellerman and replace the dyke (who has the Goodwill Industries wardrobe) with Wendy Murphy. Wendy is really hot when she gets angry. I bet her husband really gets turned on when she kicks the crap out of him.

I'm not exactly a fan of his but he does have a wife and kids. I would probably refer to him as a quirky conservative. Or maybe a 'maverick' if you really want to compliment him. I'll pass on that one though.

No. Tucker's married (to a woman), has a son and three daughters and is a conservative in New Jersey, which takes balls. Everything is relevant. In Red states, Tucker is viewed at best as a RINO.
If he were smart, he'd get rid of that Goofy Max Kellerman and replace the dyke (who has the Goodwill Industries wardrobe) with Wendy Murphy. Wendy is really hot when she gets angry. I bet her husband really gets turned on when she kicks the crap out of him.

I like him.
He's not the political analyst like Rush.
He's not the brilliant tactician like Newt.
He's not as ferocious as Michael Savage.
So what? A nice guy, with generally conservative values, and a generation younger than all of them. When he's 54, like Rush is --
To: Cowboy Bob
If you saw Tucker Carlson in London after the "Tube Bombings," he went toe-to-toe with the head of a British Islamic group. I was surprised. He also comes off very well on immigration. I don't think he's as much of a RINO as you paint him to be.
His biggest problem is he needs to do this regularly and stop being wimpy. He needs to drop the debating society mentality and either drop the dyke or tear her a new rear. He needs to change his image. Ditching the bow tie is a good start.

is a conservative in New Jersey I guess it's a matter of degree but it seems to me that if TC were in a red state, he would tend more toward purple. For example, he would not be a bit out of place at an Austin, Texas social gathering of the Ma Richards Garden Club and Gin Sampling Society.
