Fox news just reported that Tony Snow had been considered for the White House Press Secretary job that Rob McClellan may be stepping down from!!!!!!!
What does anyone else know? I'm out of the loop.

Wow. If this is true I hope he takes it. Will miss him on radio but it would be worth the sacrifice. However, he's only permitted to take the job if he is allowed to smack the has been media around. If he has to start tiptoeing around I want him right where he is. My only concern is how much time this would take from his family. However, since it would only be for 2 years I think his wonderful family can handle the pressure.

I have strongly believed that Tony could explain the President's position better than almost anyone in the Administration (except maybe Dick Cheney). I just hope Tony's wife and his health will let him take it.

Keep A Low Profile

With each blinding flash of lightning we may be strongly tempted to get up and run. But keeping a low spiritual profile of humility and fear of God is the surest and safest way to weather the storm. I'd give it a shot. Worst thing that happens is the mods take it down until confirmed. And if you post it, someone out there will no doubt in short order find a source.
I am hoping, if Tony's health will allow, that he takes the position. His country and his President need him.
We wouldn't hear him on the radio, but we could watch him on CSPAN every morning, putting the press corps in order.
I'd be willing to make that sacrifice. :-)

XM radio usually also carries the WH press briefing. I'd almost pay to listen to that daily.
