"Woof" is used in broadcasting to say "stop," "that's enough" or to mark a specific point in time -- which is what is done in this case. "Tony's show starts in 3 minutes: WOOF!" Means in 3 minutes from-- NOW!

What a contrast, eh? This country would be in a lot better shape if politicans had placed the welfare and unity of their families ahead of their personal ambitions.

That's the thing about Tony in that job...I think he'd revolutionize the whole method of communicating with the press. Just because he's smart and knows how to NOT answer a question more politely than Scott McClellan...like he's doing today. He's telling you all the factors, and still not what he really thinks...if it were me, maybe he really doesn't know himself! I'm just as betwixt and between as he must be...
