THANK YOU!!

And the Democrat's postion? All I see here are Republicans.
Thanks onyx...
Excellent! Thank you!!!
George Allen has stated several times that a "guest worker" program SHOULD NOT BE A PATH TO CITIZENSHIP.
I wonder why he's listed as "Will Not Rule Out Legalizing Illegals" ..?? Curious!
If possible, will you add GOP to the title?
"Of All * GOP * senators."
How many of them are for Serious strengthening our borders as in a border fence.
I think that is the most critical component. If you don't do something about that, even if you don't legalize the ones already here, they keep coming and there will be more and more of them.
If you stop them from coming across the border illegally, it almost doesn't matter much what you do with the ones already here, after all 12 million is less than 0.5% of the total US population.
The main problem is that 12 million today and how many million tomorrow? The only way to stop that is to secure the borders.
If we secure the borders, I don't see any problem with well regulated, controlled guest worker program, where we know who they are, where they are, have them pay taxes, etc.
Thanks
PING!
PING for later.

This has probably been posted on FR before, but I just found out about this site recently. I think it's great.

Thank you for the BEST thread on FR today! There is no excuse for anyone not to send an e-mail to their Senators. I just did.
Jim DeMint is a pretty solid conservative, IMHO. When push comes to shove I think he'll vote against any kind of shamnesty.
Lind-see Graham, on the other hand, is a pure 100% RINO. As McPain's numero uno butt boy, I'm sure he'll vote with the RATS. Lind-see is the RINOs RINO.
I am looking forward to working hard to see that Lind-see receives the award he deserves. Being a one-term Senator!
How can Frist be in the "no comment" column? He is kissing Ted Kennedy's behind to get illeglas green cards. Oops, I forgot, giving illegals greens cards and/or citizenship isn't amnesty because the word 'amnesty' isn't used. How stupid do the Republicans think their supporters are?
I DON'T TRUST SEN. CORNYN even though he's on the list of "against" granting amnesty because he definitely wants a "path" to citizenship (he's "my" senator--but, of course, Hutchison is even worse). The "path" to citizenship already exists (i.e., applying from one's own country), so, as all of us recognize, it's been a phony issue all along.Bottom line: Beware the Allens and Cornyns and Kyls who appear reasonable. NumbersUSA.com has a report card on all of 'em.
My bumper sticker during the November elections is going to be "We Won't Forget." As Hamlet noted, "One may smile and smile and be a villain." Ninety-five percent of congressional folk are villainous, IMHO.

Mark for later action
Thank you for writing me about a possible blanket amnesty.
I appreciate hearing from you.
I do not support blanket amnesty for illegal immigrants. As
the daughter of a Russian immigrant, I understand the hope and the
optimism with which countless others view our country. I believe
America is rooted in a tradition of newcomers working hard and
building a better life for themselves and their families. We must
balance this tradition, however, with our ability to integrate new
immigrants into the American society that follow the proper
channels to legal immigration. Our ability to accept immigrants and
our immigration policy must support and strengthen families, create
economic opportunities, increase scientific and cultural resources,
and fulfill humanitarian commitments.
Again, thank you for writing to me. If you have any further
questions or comments on this or any other issue, please do not
hesitate to call my Washington, D.C. staff at (202) 224-3841.
Sincerely yours,
Dianne Feinstein
United States Senator
