Yes, I heard Charles Krauthammer is unsubscribing from the NYT and WaPo because it demeaned his award.

After learning how JFK got his I wonder if they ever had any real meaning.

The Pulitzers have not meant anything for a long time. In 1932 Walter Duranty of the NY Times won one for reporting on Stalin's paradise in the USSR.

Duranty was proved to be a fraud long ago, yet the Times refuses to return the award.
