LONDON, April 23 (IranMania) - According to IRNA, Secretary of Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Ali Larijani in Manama on Sunday held talks with Bahraini King Hamad bin Isa al-Khalifa on the latest developments in the region, situation in Iraq and Iran's nuclear program.

The Bahraini king said that Bahrain supports Iranian program to produce nuclear energy, adding that all states are seeking to diversify their energy resources. He said other states in the region should also take steps towards using nuclear energy.

Al-Khalifa said that there is no weapons of mass destruction (WMD) in the Middle East except in Israel. He called on the international community to put pressure on Israel to comply with Non-Proliferation Treaty.

The Bahraini king admired Iran for supporting the rights of the Palestinian people and said that it is an honor for Islamic and Arab states to see Iran supporting defenseless Palestinians.

Larijani said the Islamic Republic of Iran is willing to develop friendly and good neighborly relations with the Islamic states in the Persian Gulf.

He said that Iran is also interested in boosting regional cooperation to help boost the economy of every state in the Middle East.

Larijani briefed the Bahraini king on Iranian nuclear program for civilian purpose.

Yes, the Iranian leadership is planning to export nuclear weapons technologies to other Islamist countries. And yes, contrary to Al-Khalifa's words, Pakistan already has nukes. The post above was originally taken from a Tehran propaganda piece. Most of what I've seen from the IranMania publication so far indicates advocacy of overthrowing the mullahs (including the occasional wake-up piece like that above). ...will continue to keep an eye on it.

Fine, if it's for peaceful use then they should have no problem having the Uranium processed in Russia.

" is run by the embassy of the Iranian government in London!"

Thank you! You saved me lots of time. IranMania has been issuing harder news ("he said"--that is, lack of opinion stuff) than what we see in the Tehran papers for sure, but it's probably also an effort to put on the best face for London. I should read every word before posting anything from it.
