Is it your feeling, David Gregory, that Valerie Plame was an undercover agent?

Yeah, the problem is white house double talk, and if they choose Tony to provide the new, clear, concise, straight-talkin' tone that the WH plans to implement, then he'd be great. If they think he's going to go up there and read the daily talking points and not have any real input into what goes out, they're wrongs.

But I do think that having Tony in there would make it a more populist briefing. Tony's fans and politicos in general are going to want to know what happened in the WH briefing every day. I suspect ESPN will pick it up. I mean CSPAN.

There's no way you can compare Tony Snow with George Steponallofus. ABC drooled over getting a Clinton aide on their staff during the 90s, whereas Tony Snow is being requested to come from FOX news as a media professional to help bridge the media gap for the White House Press Meetings! George had NO press credentials, but rather a whole lot of butt kissing to get where he got!

Ditto.

After recovering from cancer you get a different perspective on life.

Go for it Tony! One person can make a difference. If stress were a factor in defending our Country, most of us would have to go into retreat. Give me Liberty of Give Me Death!

My prayers have been with Tony since he found out about his health condition. God does for us what we cannot do for ourselves. I will continue to pray for Tony and pray that he will take the position offered by President Bush and that he be given the strength, power and good health to do what is necessary in this demanding job.

It's tough to be charming and confrontational at the same time.

Yes, it is not easy but it is something that our Tony excells at. I don't know of anybody that can do it better.

When Tony's name was mentioned last week, I thought it was the vanity name-drop that you always get when they're looking for someone. I figured it would be Senor, Torie Clark, or an unknown. Now I know that Torie is out, I don't know about Dan, but I think it's between Tony and the player to be named later. I think it's going to happen.

Wrong. The "Base" has been developing since Goldwater. The "Base" will punish a McCain or McClone if the sorry pubs have the nerve to nominate one. The "Base" will see this country go to Hellary before they elect a McClone, and they'll break the RINOs in the process, sending them back where they belong, in the demagogue party.

Senor would be a big mistake. He is so boring and colorless. He would strive to be PC and we don't need that now.

Prayer, in the life of a Christian, is VERY POWERFUL indeed! May God be with Tony as he decides which way to go.

the President's poll numbers are the result his stances on several issues that the conservative base is really upset about, namely illegal immigration

Does not compute. Bush has had, and enunciated, the same stance on immigration all along, since his poll numbers were high.

I have always thought that the President's poll numbers are directly correlated to gas prices. As long as gas prices are high the poll numbers will be in the "tank".

Enjoy your frog march out of the party....I know that I will enjoy watching. You have burned the last bridges, and there is no place to go but..... out.

Pat Buchanan discovered the same thing. Perhaps he can lead you to the promised land.
