'Tangible proof' al-Qaida deploying nukes (Bombshell presentation)
WorldNetDaily ^ | 4/25/06 | WorldNetDaily.com

A terrorism symposium featuring leading experts will begin with presentation of "tangible proof" al-Qaida not only has developed an arsenal of tactical nuclear weapons but also has begun to deploy them for use in its jihad against the United States and Israel.

Paul L. Williams, author of "The Al Connection" and "The Dunces of Doomsday," will present his findings at the National Press Club in Washington at the conclusion of a public debate with Wall Street Journal correspondent Richard Miniter on al-Qaida's nuclear weaponry.

The debate, Friday at 10 a.m., will be moderated by Fred Barnes, executive editor of The Weekly Standard and regular contributor to the Fox News Channel. The public is invited to attend.

The organizers say the event is timely, "with increased anxiety over demands for a pullout from Iraq, the nuclear developments in Iran and North Korea, the failure of our government to secure the borders and our country's fledgling, incomprehensive effort at homeland security."

Epstein believes the majority of Americans disapprove of both the "cut-and-run policy" proposed by many leading Democrats and the "compassionate conservative" approach of the Bush administration, favoring instead a "firm and decisive military action with no apologies to Russia, China, France, Germany, Saudi Arabia or the United Nations."

"I am convinced that the threat we are currently facing from radical Islam greatly surpasses that which was posed by the Third Reich," Epstein said.

Anyone interested in attending, Epstein added, should contact America's Truth Forum at its website or by calling 866-709-3474.

The event offers the following speakers (continued):

"SO WHAT? with the US economy devastated and the country in chaos."

Losing some big cities would not be the end of the US. It would however be the end of the middle east and any other country full of crackpot muslims. Game set and match to them? Hardly.

there are many on this forum, that see it happening as an eventuality, the question becomes not IF, but WHEN.

For those that see it as WHEN, the questions is SOONER or LATER.

I believe it will be the first opportunity the Islamists get to bring a plan together.

And they will have many opportunities since we as a country are asleep at the switch.

No doubt, no doubt at all.
911 was our wake up call.
I agree, most of America including our beloved leaders are asleep.

"The response to this would be multiple air bursts (ie. one thousand times larger than the tac nukes) over Pakistan, North Korea and anyone else even suspected of supplying the materials to Al-Qaeda. It would be the end of the world as we know it. The death toll would be over one hundred million."

Unlikely. Sadly, deterrence has little effect on these death-lovers. They have to be rooted out, one by one, and given their wish.

no here you are wrong.

The us economy is built upon the ability to freely spend money, ergo branch banks, ATMs, checks, credit cards, etc.

What would be your first thought when it happens, right after where are the kids and are they safe? It would be:food, water, shelter and MONEY.

You and 100 MILLION other citizens think AT THE SAME TIME, I need to get some cash.

Especially when they are doing a city a day - is your city next, would you flee, need some gas and food, need money.

You really need to think this through.

agreed, that will probably be the response but remember,
this enemy doesn't care if we do nuke them.

With the way our government has been operating lately terrorists could just buy a plane ticket from Peshawar to New York and put the warhead in the seat next to them.

The Pentagon announced TODAY the formation of
a new 500-man elite fighting unit called the United States Redneck Special Forces.

These Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, Missouri, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Texas boys will be dropped off into Iraq and have been given only the following facts about terrorists:
1. The season opened today.
2. There is no limit.
3. They taste just like chicken.
4. They don't like beer, pickups, country music or Jesus.
5. They are directly responsible for the death of Dale Earnhardt.

The Pentagon expects the problem in Iraq to be over by Friday.

I agree that this would not be the end of the US, as it would further unite the states, eliminating the political poles. However, it would cause a massive depression, global for that matter.

What could end the US, is if Russia and China decided to take the opportunity to divide the world amongst themselves. We are the ONLY obstacle to them. Islam is simply the useful idiots, the equivalent to early 20th century anarchists.

I think you really need to think this through. We have thousands of ICBMs that don't require solvent banks to launch.

Make no mistake, even if we are brought to our knees we will still have the technology to completely and utterly destroy our enemies.

"If they had them, they would have used them. "

I hope this is so. On the other hand, most of these terrorist groups are a little bit like the fire ants I encountered in south Texas. You'd never get bitten by ONE ant. They'd wait until the whole swarm was on your foot (or wherever) and chomp down all at once. AQ and other terrorist groups like to hit multiple targets at the same time. It's possible that even if they have one or two nukes, they're waiting for three or four--or more. (Worst nightmare scenario.)

I think it depends on what you mean by "as we know it." I think the human spirit in general and the American spirit in particular is incredibly resilient. I do not believe even several nuked cities will cause the country to be destroyed.

The principles upon which the nation was founded - although atrophied by modern society - still exist, and are cherished by many. And they don't depend on gleaming cities to exist or flourish.

I hope my opinion is never tested, since I live in LA and would have to watch the drama play out on a celestial television. :-)

You really need to think this through.

So do you. You need to read Miniter's book.

"Suitcase nukes" are a myth propagated by conspiracy theorists.

If 9/11 was our wakeup call, I'm afraid the country (for the most part) just hit the snooze button and returned to the nap.

sink,

I was not even thinking of suitcase nukes. The batteries, electronics and neglected tritium refill, would have looooong since rendered them useless.

No I am speaking of a full up plutonium nuke with a shotgun trigger, like the high schooler mocked up for his science fair project (which got him a visit from the feds).

You are not accepting that these guys are facilitated by STATES antithetical to the US.

No suitcase nuke, they will use REAL nukes.

don't start thinking that way!

they will get what they want then.

Do you see how they live, in almost stone age conditions.

They just want parity, ie. the US living in stoneage conditions.

When I say "As we know it" I mean we'd be facing complete military control of the government, suspension of basic liberties out of necessity, martial law, suspension of the Constitution for the forseeable future, In short we would be living in a police state for the rest our lives, and probably for the lives of our great grandchildren.
