"So on May 1, the ridiculous, old socialist "workers' holiday" known overseas as "May Day," they intend to punish the American people, and intimidate Congress into passing a "guest worker" amnesty, by marching in the streets, boycotting American stores, and shutting down the corrupt businesses that have illegally employed them."
I'm actually stunned at the irony and ignorance some of these businesses can't see in their efforts to show support for these protests, especially considering the date. This May 1, 2006 march may be about immigration and guest workers, but if this turns out to be successful, the next march may about wages and a better standard of living.
I can only imagine the ideas running through some heads as thoughts of organization and unionization take fruition at the site of "millons of workers" protesting in the streets. If these people think this is going to end at immigration rights, they're nuts. Some of these businesses better be careful what they wish for because the next march may be about attacking them.

Insurrection, yes, they are threating to close our cities temporarily, is that any different than a terrorist threat?
so while people go on an on about how bush should be impeached because we had no direct evidences of threats , now we have blatant delectations of threats from known parties and governments, the president does nothing, and the Democrats whom have plenty of material now about real failures on the war on terrorism and the security of our country are silent!
If we didn't know any better , we would have to believe that extraterristials were invading our planet and brainwashing our defenses numb but how else can such inconstancies and the reactions with the heads in the sand be explained ?

Organizers have timed the action for May Day, a date when workers around the world traditionally have marched for improved conditions.... You mean when "communist workers" march for improved conditions. of course all the time their conditions are bad, they are communists!

It blows my mind as well, I have no rational idea why our borders have not been better secured (healthy Military presence) after 9/11.. Check this out:

It's the Terrorists that we DON'T CATCH slipping through the border that worries me the most..

A great time to arrest the employers and fine them until they cry for mercy! How can we allow the illegals to run the cities and the country?
To: DoughtyOne
Well, perhaps it's because they don't even celebrate Cinco de Mayo in Mexico, except one little region. It's a trumped up holiday to flaunt in the face of gringos del norte. And sell more Corona, Doritos, and anything that is red, green, and white in color.

"May 1 is May day."
While it was a Communist tradition, it is a holiday all over much of Europe, much like labor day in the US.
Slovakia also has a holiday for the end of Fascism, as well as a holiday for the end of Communism.

This would be an excellent time for those who champion illegal alien rights to be honest with themselves for the first time in decades, and apologize to the rest of us.

As for Red, Green and White, they're using all that they can, to wrap themselves in.

do you think they might actually do that around major cities? I'm already nervous about driving from NJ to NC with my two large, not-very-car-friendly dogs. (I'm finally moving out of NJ. Hooray for me!)
