(CBS/AP) Snoop Dogg is out on bail after a brawl involving police at London's Heathrow Airport.
Attorney Peter Binning says no charges were filed, and although the rapper will have to return at a later date, he'll be able to honor his concert commitments in South Africa.
Police say seven British officers were hurt in a "disturbance" that broke out when the rap star and his party were denied access to a first class airport lounge. When the group was told it couldn't board the flight, police say some members of the party became abusive and shoved officers.
British Airways planned to fly Snoop Dogg - real name Calvin Broadus, 34 - to South Africa, but a spokesman says letters have been sent to the entire party telling them they're banned from all future travel on the airline.
London's Metropolitan Police said officers were called to "reports of a disturbance involving 30 people in a business lounge" at Terminal 1 of the busy airport on Wednesday.
When police told the group that they would not be allowed to board their flight, "a number of the group became abusive and pushed officers," a spokeswoman said on the force's customary condition of anonymity.
Six men were arrested on charges of violent disorder and affray and spent the night at London police stations. Police did not name the men, but said all were U.S. citizens in their 30s.
Seven officers received cuts, bruises and other minor injuries, the force said.

We should have sent him to one of our prisons - no cable TV there, mate. :)
I hope he gets the message and never comes back here. By the way, take that slapper Madonna off our hands while you're at it.
Regards, Ivan

What is it with people getting away with hitting officers lately? Cynthia McKinney. A man who seriously calls himself "Snoop Dog."
Further, how did one of these officers get cut. That speaks of something far more than just a minor incident.

Further, how did one of these officers get cut. Maybe it was from the Durham stripper's fake fingernail.

Evidently the police like it. If you or I got into a "near riot" and 7 police were injured I don't think they would let us out so we could go to work.
Special treatment.

From the interviews I have seen of him over the past years when he has been on the late night shows, I have always seen a pretty darn nice and thoughtful guy.

Glad the Dogg is out of his pen ........... I sort of like old Snoop. So, because you sort of like him, his disgusting behavior should be excused? That's absurd and part of what's wrong with society, just because someone is cute or because he/she is liked doesn't mean they should get away with deviant behavior.

Nice and thoughtful. That's what I was thinking when I saw him on the red carpet of some awards show with two teen-aged girls in bondage gear, and darn nice Snoop had them walking on leashes hanging from dog collars. One girl was white, and I'm not sure about the other. I wish I could find a picture, but it was buried very deep, since darn nice Snoop was also promoting Chryslers with Lee Iaccoca at the time.
Calvin is one sick POS. Between the Wild On video, and the music, my guess is that he has a serious psycho sexual problem. Teen-aged girls on dogleashes...that sick creep.

Morning Rockabyebaby,
Please add also, racist who hates condervative whites and blacks.
Such a role model for the oppressed and downtoddened peeps on the street.
In my opinion he is nothing more than a "racist POS" who people(uneducated&liberals) seek to emulate.

Actually the girls who agreed to wear the leashes are the sick ones.
As for the hangers on of the Snoop Dog being violent and abusive, I go beck to the old saying."Aint no use in being one , if you cant act like one"
To: MadIvan
I encountered a rapper posse flying to Los Angeles at the Salt Lake City airport a few years ago.
they were just menacing, they were demanding things like an empty row of seats ahead of them and behind them between their party and the other passangers on the plane, some of their goons were trying to keep other people from entering the washroom in the terminal while the rapper was using it, they were trying to cut in line at the resturants. Delta let them board the plane early just to get them out of the way.
To: MadIvan
Nice of them to let that "Spoiled Brat" out of the pen. They should have left him in there for a couple of weeks just to cool his dumb head!

She's off your hands at least for this weekend...she's to perform at a very scuzzy venue here called "The Coachella" - a two day outdoor punk rock music festival.
Weekend forecast is for right around 100 degrees, BTW...should add to the all around comfort out there in the dirt.

I'll cut to the chase with you. You are speak like you are an *sshole.
Nowhere in that article does it say that he did anything wrong ("a number of the group became abusive and pushed officers").
Go back under your rock.

You know......... I must admit to not being hip to ANY of the things he has created "musically" or whatever he does. I only saw him on the talk shows.
So you may be right about him.
But this article says nothing about him in particular getting out of control at the airport.
I do however easily believe that his hanger-ons probably did cause problems --- that is the way hanger-ons are. He, himself, may be a lowlife, but he is NOT stupid.
