"Mexicans don't need to be put down as a group"

No one is putting down Mexicans, it is entering the county illegally that is the problem. That part of "illegal alien" do you not understand?

"The came by the millions in the 1840's and even more millions around 1900. (From Italy, Poland, Russia, Greece, etc.) "

They sure did but this was also a very empty continent at that time, it's not now.

Controlled immigration is necessary this is not ( yet ) the wild open west, nor is it botany bay, we need background checks, and controlled numbers.

I don't see why its too much to ask.

'He says those who don't should be deported, but those who do should be welcomed into American churches and helped on their road to citizenship.'

Well preacher, let the southern baptists foot the bill, and help the illigals every step of the way.

I totally agree. Employers could sponsor workers if they agreed they would never use public services, and would be responsible for the worker LEAVING when they are scheduled to do so.

That is how it used to work, and it worked well.

Aside from trying to guilt and shame us into hugging the nearest illegal alien, according to Rev. Land, all immigrants who have entered this country ILLEGALLY should be given a criminal background check and if found to have done anything ILLEGAL, they should be deported. Sounds like a plan to me.

I do understand that breaking the law is a problem, but I do know from history that millions came when there was no law to begin with.

The laws were motivated by weird ideas that some people were inferior to others (eugenics) that were popular in the 1920's when the laws passed. (This is the era when Margaret Sanger spoke to the KKK about eugenics and such)

I want the law enforced but I also see the need for the people to do work in this country.

I hope we secure the border and move on to deal with the problem of the people already here including arresting and getting them out of the country as quickly as possible. But our legal system gives the illegals rights to appeal and they jam up local jails. (hundreds are in my county jail alone) Local lawyers help them with appeals and they just sit there and don't get kicked out.

I am not putting down Mexicans as many of these people are not Mexicans... ets all repeat after me.
THESE ARE NOT IMMIGRANTS. THESE ARE ILLEGAL ALLIENS.

Immigarnts follow the law as to how they enter our country. I have no problem with legal immigration.

It seems to me that God's word wanted people divided into sovereign nations. The destruction of the Tower of Babel was an attack on the first New World Order. Illegal immigration and invasion is attack on national sovereignity. Globalization, internationalism, and social justice are doctrines that are opposed to nationalism. I read the Book of Revelation as Sir Walter Scott read it and wrote his commentary on it and I truly believe as he did that we are in the last age of the church and in the last age of the church Jesus is not in the typical church. Therefore when religious leaders start commenting on anything other than personal salvation through Our Lord and Saviour, I take it for what its worth which is nothing. There is no earthly reason why the nation of Israel was raised up in my lifetime and exists today except to say that God Almighty was responsible and wants it so.

Yes, there are millions of people in the country illegally
who have immigrated here. Illegal immigrants they are.

But I'm making a point that there is hostility towards them just like there was hostility towards other groups that came here by the millions when it was legal for them to do so.

Concerns about law and order, jobs, etc. were expressed by the people of those times who felt they were being "invaded" too.

By the way these protests today, coming as they are on May 1st are obviously Communist-Left Wing and they are aimed at radicalizing Hispanics and dividing people against each other.

Marx taught that you have to create a violent conflict in society to cause the revolution that will bring in "Socialism".

Like the radicals of the 60's, these events are turning off most Americans and it will cause some political impact. Tom Tancredo may come out of this looking pretty good or some other voice that can articulate opposition to illegal immigration.

Lets get that border secure right now. And then move on to deal with the problem of those who are here. But I am convinced we need to keep many of them because the economy needs them. We have aborted more than 40 million people out of the workforce.

We allowed millions in before laws were passed in the 1920's
and they made people angry, too. But the eugenics and racial inferiority oriented people of the 1920's had the power to make restrictive laws that form the base for what he have today.

I don't disagree completely. Historically the Mexican governments have been Marxist leaning socialists. They are the problem and this is an invasion, partially for their benefit and partially for the drug lords, etc.. They are using this country to keep their problems under control. The Mexican govt. has no good will for us.
