I think he probably IS having to bone up on the subjects that will be asked about...and I am sure after the announcement the other day...he and Bush and a laugh over Gregort shouting out that question as they left the room...
I can just hear Tony telling Bush that one thing that has to change is the White House runs the briefing..not the other way around.
