California Senate Votes Against America
GOPUSA ^ | April 28, 2006 | Bobby Eberle

Posted on 04/28/2006 2:11:49 PM PDT by Columbine

The planned boycott of American businesses on Monday by groups who support “rights” for illegal aliens has gained a new ally: the California Senate. In a mind-boggling move, the legislative body passed a resolution which supports the “Great American Boycott 2006.” In other words, the California Senate is siding with illegal aliens and against the overwhelming will of the American people.

As noted by the Associated Press, “California’s state senators on Thursday endorsed Monday’s boycott of schools, jobs and stores by illegal immigrants and their allies…”

The California Senate vote was along party lines, 24-13, but it really makes you wonder what these people, even though they are Democrats, are thinking. This is America, right? The Monday boycott is by ILLEGAL aliens and their supporters, right? What’s going on here?

California has been lost for a long time - full socialism and liberalism. Land of gays, hollywierd, etc. I don't think Bush even traveled to CA in 2004 - why waste his time and resources?

No mystery here! It's BECAUSE they are democrats that there is no mystery, dude! Wake up and smell the anti American communism that has infiltrated their party. You can't miss it. It's got a distinct and foul odor.

I had been sympathetic to the plight of immigrants who seemed to just want better lives for their families. But now, first with flying the Mexican flag at rallies, and now this in-your-face boycott, I'm with the rest of you. These are illegals. Those who hire them are breaking the law. We can't have hostile hoardes disrupting our economy. They must go. Only make American citizens children born here to two American citizens.

It shows you that we have anti-American socialists running California -- not a profound statement, we have known it for about 20 years now. And this kind of traitorous behavior is what we get -- and it is all about power and votes. As usual.

ABSOLUTELY agree with that. Right now most hardworking Americans have a lot to lose if they abandon their everyday lives to join grassroots causes like the Minutemen Project (wish I could help them), but at some point it will become necessary.

When California tries to secede from the Union, will we try to retain it, or double the aide to it through the state department? Under the current administration, I think Bush would run for office in Mexifornicatia, so there would be no federal response. I'm wondering if this would be a good time to boot them out and cut off the aid, befopre the big one hits, so FEMA doesn't have too much on its plate.

One must truly admire these CA Dims who are showing their solidarity with the oppressed. Well, sort of.
***Apparently, the planned work stoppage on May 1 is not just for, you know, workers; Democrats in the California State Assembly are planning a pro-immigrant no-show as well. Somehow, I don't think the absence of the Dems will leave Republicans wondering how they will ever go it alone. But this is a special kind of work stoppage. It's the kind where you still get paid:

...The Democrat leaders of the California State Assembly.... declared Monday a "check-in" day so as not to forfeit their $459 tax-free per diem for the weekend and Monday. A true legislative walkout would have led to lawmakers losing per diem pay for Saturday and Sunday, as well as Monday since spending more than three consecutive days away from the Capitol triggers a halt in the highly-prized extra pay.***

The GOP in Washington has made ALL OF THIS possible.
They are actively slashing our throats for the Latino votes.

I no longer consider myself a Republican and the GOP are amongst the worst hypocrites I have ever seen. They love the idea of a perpetually poor underclass who can be servants in the future America with the GOPSTERS at the top.

I am in Los Angeles and I am furious. It is time to not only go full out after the businesses that hire illegals (small and large), but raid the businesses and start doing massive deportation. Business has abused this delicacy and it has ruined and will continue to ruin the U.S.

As far as the babies born here, that is bull--it too. A lot of these pregnant women cross the border just about the time they are ready to give birth on purpose or get pregnant soon following. Trojan horse is all I can say and I am not talking about USC. Sorry folks, we can blame Reagan and Bush have done (or not done) a lot to add to this problem. If this was happening under a Democrat controlled congress and presidency, it would be one thing, but now I feel hopeless and you know not much good comes out of that.

Unless something major changes, I have a very bad feeling about our future. The Republican party will not be receiving one vote from me in the upcoming elections or in 2008, unless something changes. Period. No cash. No Vote. Maybe they can hire an illegal to replace my vote-have an illegal do the vote I can no longer stomach. My new motto. Unfortunately for the Republicans, the illegal will be looking for the Big, Fat D on the ballot instead.

God, I hope so. Something drastic needs to happen. I just don't want to see U.S. civilian citizens killed trying to protect they own culture on their own soil. But that is what patriots do-they are willing to fight for country, hearth and family.

Our government (most elected officials) at this point at so spineless, everyday citizenry will have to take up arms. The military will not be used is my prediction. In fact, it may just so happen that our own military may be used to defend the illegals and round up and jail the U.S.citizens that are fighting for their country. Now wouldn't that be something. Man, what is wrong with Bush!? He just doesn't get it on this one.

What is even worse is that women come across the border midway through their pregnancy when they are still able to walk easily and then show up at County USC hospital to give birth. Then to make matters worse, there are more than a dozen slip and fall law suits against Los Angeles County each year in that hospital alone and many of them are by illegals who are there having their children born for free in America.

The answer to your question is: NO. Not in California there aren't. its time for the rest of the Democratic party to realize that they are no longer Democrats, they are the Mexico Party. All of the other special interests and minority groups in the party had better find another political home because the Democrat party in CA doesn't need them anymore. Now that they have completed their takeover of Los Angeles, they will be moving on Sacramento.

Mark my words, when you see the first Mexican governor of California there will be no need for blacks, jews, asians, gays, feminists, enviros or government unions. Its already occurred in LA County. The Mexican lobby owns the county and has enough votes with illegals to win any election they want. The Democrat Party in California is on its way to being a Mexican Party in California and the rest of the special interests will be powerless to oppose them. Who knows whether there will still be a GOP in CA at that point or whether it will become like Hawaii and just be there as a token with no real influence.

I guess I'll be buying another box of ammo this weekend.

Boy do I hear this. I told my husband the other day I really want to start going to a shooting range and relearn how to shoot, both a rifle and a hand gun. Growing up in Montana, my father taught us all how to shoot both firearms when I was around nine years old. Needless to say it didn't do me a lot of good later in life as a city girl, but now I'm thinking can't hurt to know how to shoot with confidence. One never knows.

Do you think we feel this way just because we are swarmed/massively invaded as a border state?

When I visit a lot of non-border states I see just as many non-english speaking spanish folks, doing 'the jobs Americans won't do'-palease! I am curious if the non-border states folks are feelin' the burden yet, combined with a strong urge for weapontry.

Can't afford a thousand rounds. But I'm always sure to buy more than I shoot and store it properly for a rainy day. And x-tra magazines when I can find them on sale.

One of my rifles is a scoped Marlin 30-30. I keep going by the local sporting goods place to see if they have the new Hornady "spitzers" that are safe for tubular magazines, but they are always out by the time I get there. They are supposed to give you an extra 100yds of accurate range.

Every Anti-American in this nation will be marching Monday

Los Angeles, CA: In solidarity with immigration activists around the country, the Muslim Public Affairs Council as well as the Council on American-Islamic Relations - Los Angeles (CAIR-LA), the Islamic Shura Council of Southern California, the LA Latino Muslim Association, the Muslim American Society-Los Angeles, and the Muslim Students Association - West (MSA West) are calling on American Muslims to participate in a day of action on May 1, 2006.

Also, the Antiwar groups ANSWER, United for Peace and Justice, World Can't wait, and CodePink are going to march for immigrant rights, some of these groups will take point in the marches….all of the nations Communist parties will be marching for immigrant rights.

I suppose it will be bush' fault for not protecting people if someone detinates.

Who knows whether there will still be a GOP in CA at that point or whether it will become like Hawaii and just be there as a token with no real influence.

Unfortuntely that's been the case for the past 10 years at least. When Prop 187 was deep-sixed by a FEDERAL judge and later thrown in the garbage by Gray Davis, it was the beginning of the end for CA. Both state and federal governments had told the state's citizens to go pound sand -- that their votes meant nothing.

Later, when Bob Dornan was defeated with ILLEGAL VOTES and the Congressional GOP held hearings then REFUSED to do anything about it, it was all over. That was the signal the Reconquistas had been waiting for. Nobody here had the political will to do a damned thing. Open sesame Aztlan!

As far as SchwarzenKennedy's concerned, the schnitzel's gone out of his wiener if it ever had any. He's proven to be nothing but a standard-issue pw'd Austrian welfare statist. He's been an environmentalist's wet dream and he'll cave to Vicente as fast as Firestone and Parsky can crack a new jug of Pinot Noir and say "Prosit!"

If any of you California-bashers think the same thing isn't set to happen in your states, God help you. It's all a game of divide and conquer and it was set into play long before Dubya took office. But that doesn't absolve him. The government no longer considers American citizens and voters relevant.

These marches are not about immigration policies. It has to do with international communist/socialist orgs looking to gain the political upperhand in the U.S..

The extremely uneducated and superstitious underclasses of Mexico and Latin America do not need to be co-opted by communists after they come to the US either. Marxism is being promulgated as the answer to all problems in those countries and has been for a few decades now. There is no need to propagandize those people into communism they are raised on it.

Posted by JeffHead Jeff links to Mexica.org's 'after protest' pic fest. You can see there what the marchers thought they were marching for.

A poster for Friday’s march. March 31. This poster lists the Latino orgs that are promoting the protests. They are all communist/socialist front orgs.

Here is my analysis of what is going on behind the scenes.

Here is some evidence that 'amnesty' increases illegal entries. These people knew before the demonstrations that the time was ripe.

Smith Act of 1940 This is the U.S. statute that ought to apply to the organized gathering of tens of thousands of foreign nationals calling for the overthrow of our country.

I need to make a correction to my previous postings. H.R. 4437 does not simplify the process of documenting employees. The article at that last link says this:

No Elimination and Reduction of Employment Eligibility Documents. One of the few positive aspects of a mandatory employment eligibility system would be the simplification of the hiring process by reducing the number of documents employers would have to verify to one or two. The bill does not do so. Several other reform proposals (such as the Dreier bill, H.R. 98) provide for such simplification by requiring the use of a tamperproof Social Security card and no others. The bill only studies the use of such documents but does not eliminate the use of any documents and the confusion such documents cause employers.

My apologies to all for proliferating confusion on that. This means that H.R. 4437, the best of all bills so far put forward by our esteemed Congress, isn't too good after all.

Understand that the provision that the protesters say is 'racist,' that makes illegals felons, was inserted by the Dems a short time ago. That clarifies why Hillary happened to discover the immigration issue a week before the marches. Why she demonized Republicans as "making Jesus a criminal."

Keep in mind just who organized these protests. Who provided the tens of thousands of T-shirts, the thousands of professionally made signs, the hours and hours of promotion on Spanish language radio and TV stations. It has been noticed that Islamic orgs names and logos appear on some of these signs as well. Remember that NEA teachers and administrators are the ones who have assisted the march organizers by providing bussing for their students, hoisting Mexican flags at school and overlooking the truancy.

Don't forget that the last two Presidential elections were nearly 50/50. Think about how our Congress is looking for a way to appease these foreign nationals through legislation. No election necessary. The outcome of legalizing 11 million illegals and encouraging more to come will be a solid lock for the left forevermore in national elections. We don’t need an ‘immigration’ bill. We need and want a border security and illegal aliens bill. An immigration/guest worker bill can come after that is done.

Mexico is Rich- Mexican wealthy play American taxpayers for suckers

Good thread for any that missed it. It should really make you mad.

Every dollar spent in U.S. taxes for social services for illegal aliens frees up additional cash to be sent south as part of the annual remittances which provided $20 billion in 2005. According to the CNN news show Lou Dobbs Tonight (3/21/05), "Remittances, as they're called, are expected to become Mexico's primary source of income this year, surpassing the amount of money that Mexico makes on oil exports for the first time ever."

The bill that was just defeated in the Senate was an amnesty, plain and simple. But take a look at what these treasonous scumbags tried to hide in it. They will be back and we can expect more of this if we do not act decisively.

Hidden Bombs (Extremely Important Article on Immigration)

The second nasty surprise? Just before the committee approved the bill on the evening of March 27, Sen. Richard Durbin (D-Ill.) offered the "DREAM Act" as an amendment. It passed on a voice vote.

The DREAM Act is a nightmare. It repeals a 1996 law that prohibits state universities from offering in-state tuition rates to illegal aliens. The principle, of course, is that no illegal alien should be entitled to receive a taxpayer-subsidized benefit that out-of-state U.S. citizens can't get. But the committee's bill allows illegals to be treated better than those U.S. citizens on tuition.

Here is another reason Washington doesn't seem to want to do anything helpful.

What does the White House think about all of this?

I am so sick and tired of May 1st being "Be Nice to a Communist and Other Idiot Leftist Ideologies Day". Screw the left and their sick & twisted BS. The only thing I'm boycotting on Monday is the MSM, which is ongoing anyway.

From now on, for me, May 1st is going to be "Capitalism Day". Support a Capitalist: buy more than you need, share it with others, have fun and celebrate your good fortune to have been born in America and not in Screwedupistan, Jihadistan or some other God-forsaken place, like France.
