I suspect the horror was provoked not by the (proven) fecklessness and recklessness and rigidity and danger of the purported clinton 'terrorism policy' or even by the absurdity of the argument; I suspect the gasps of horror were in response, rather, to the Kill-Bill kind of violence (albeit "virtual") contained in bill clinton's words.

Everything about the clintons is an illusion--their functionality as well as their affect. They're all form and no substance. The clintons confirmed their profound dysfunction (as well as The Peter Principle) several decades and many elections ago.

With tongue partially in cheek, Edith Efron (Can the President Think?--written early in their failed, dysfunctional presidency--Nov 1994), actually hit upon a job for which he (but certainly not she) would be far better suited:

In a particular and important way, Bill Clinton is cognitively disabled.

There is nothing obvious about that disability, although its superficial manifestations strike many people immediately: If one concentrates on what Clinton says, not on his facial expressions and the motions of his poetic hands, one discovers that he is a phenomenal bore. We need to be mindful that this enemy, who made those holes in our landscape and caused the deaths of some 3,000 of our fellow free people, has a vision to personally kill or convert each and every one of us. This film further reminds us of the nature of the enemy we face. An enemy who will stop at nothing to achieve world domination and force a life devoid of freedom upon all. Their methods are inhumane and their targets are the innocent and unsuspecting. We call this conflict the "War on Terror." This film is a wake-up call.
