I saw this written on a blog today:
"As far as the demonstrations go, if they are here illegally then they have absolutely no right to assemble and demonstrate. They are not guaranteed the protections and freedoms granted by the Constitution, that is solely reserved for American citizens." Arrest and deport them!
That picture is exactly why the beehive round for the 105mm howitzer was made.
Hehehe .. yup, there's a risk. A big one ...
Should we start calling burglars undocumented guests?
ICE could have a record day tomorrow (Monday, May 1st) in L.A. and Dallas alone. Couple of hundred thousand easy. But I bet ICE will be MIA tomorrow.
I see nothing about tomorrow on their website:
http://www.ice.gov/
Thanks for bringing up that (Chile Cookoff) link! First time I read it I almost passed out from laughing so hard. It's been a while, but it's still a great read!
Just who do they think built homes and cooked food before their invasion?
Only to a liberal. The law is clearly limited to collective bargaining issues.
I'm terribly poor and I only turn sideways on very bright days.
I, and my whole family, have been loyal patrons of our favorite mexican restaurant for close to 38 years. They are Totally legal immigrants, opening franchises for all the offspring over the years.
My wife and I went to have lunch there yesterday, on the door was a handwritten notice that they would be closed on Monday, no explanation why. I asked the waitress why and was told that it was in support of the immigrant issue.
After 38 years, our relationship with these people is over!EFEM!
They can boycott 1 day, I will boycott EVERYDAY. I will do my damnest to avoid a latino business.
I had jokes that a blonde guy should walk into the ER and say "No se habla engles" to get free medical care. My uncle had to go to the ER and show 5 pieces of paper to get his medicaid/medicare. Some guy comes in and says he doesn't speak spanish, no papers asked, here's the free doctor.
My neighbor works for ICE, I can't wait to ask her what the situation is. She has been gone for several days but her husband is home. I can only hope we see them being loaded onto busses in handcuffs. Just wishful thinking on my part though.
If violence breaks out in CA, it will be interesting to see how the Dems in the legislature who urged support for the walkout spin it.
When you see the vast throngs of illegals at these rallies, you realize how gargantuan the problem really is.
I agree.
I was watching the movie "Pearl Harbor" the other night and there is a line when some Japanese officer say's to the Japanese Admiral or Captain, "We have achieved victory!" The Admirals response was; I fear we have only awakened a sleeping giant.
I dont believe the illegal immigrants who support this boycott are going to receive the reaction they are looking for.
I think most Americans truly have compassion for any impoverished, un-represented peoples. However it is a concern that resists coercion.

That's a fair point. Any other ideas?
