Durbin has an amendment that calls for a "Windfall profits REBATE"!!!
Yeppers, he says that "any profits over $40 dollars a barrel of oil (the amount it was a couple years ago)..would as a "REBATE" to consumers, UNLESS, they use that money for exploration, ways to find others sources of energy, blah, blah..."...
Also, that drilling in ANWR is not going to happen (no reason given)...but, that even though he is "pro-Capitalism"...he isn't for the "fatcats getting everything, and the poor, nothing"....
Quiz: How many basic mistakes are in his "premise" to even suggest this amendments can you guys find??? LOL

I saw Durbin; this man makes me ill. His diatribe against Bush and Rummy and yelling and screaming was ludicrous. He is so filled with hatred for this country and our troops, that he just can't contain himself. We will never forget the day he stood on the Senate Floor and called our troops Nazi's. And yet again, not a single republican came to the floor to counter his hatred. Makes me mad.
