I don't get Savage 'til 8PM Central Time. His show is tape-delayed.

I'll listen then.

I'll bet he's apoplectic over the Moussioui (sp?) jury decision.

Savage leads off blaming liberals for the verdict. I agree, liberal lawyers defended him, liberal jurors probably gave him life over death.

He looks like a black man in his pic. There are a lot of black muslims in the black community. Wonder how many blacks on the jury? Hey he's not exactly O.J. but.......

I wondered if there were any anti-Bush shenanigans going on under the radar that might explain how the jurors came to this verdict. Savage just made it a little more clearer to me of this possible angle in a flaming diatribe typical of an angry Savage.

"Is this a replay of the segment from yesterday?"

Here in the Austin area, I heard "The Savage Weiner Show" yesterday, and the segment that I heard was about how to make money from your own website. Some really hard hitting stuff. He had some lady explaining how to make advertising money from a web site.

The first thing I thought of, was Weiner's screaming/yelling/ranting/exploding spew about all those other talk show host who do not talk about the "important" issues.

Naw, Dr. Weiner is NOT a hypocrite right?

Savage was getting all worked up thinking about Moussaoui's life in prison (and getting me worked up in the process); writing letters to his terrorist buddies, getting television interviews, maybe writing a bestselling book, maybe eventually getting married. Only in America.

Our justice system is indeed compromised by the liberals. Our system was intended for a moral and religious people of which liberals are neither.

I can see how he came across as a loon on the stand and the jury not beleiving he was part of the 911 antics. I have a nagging memory, though, that 911 plans were found on his PC.

If that's the case, the evidence is either pretty damning (and ignored, or downplayed by the jury), or planted on his PC by US authorities.

Does anyone remember the PC details, or am I thinking of another case?

Savage was pretty livid today. Knows its not good for his overall health but says he can't do a show unless he gives it his all. Most of the show was on this one topic, unusual for a normal Savage show.

Particularly poignant to me was his statement "America is dying" but reiterated what else can we do but keep fighting until the end. Sad.

I agree with Savage. I often wonder, are we really dying as a country? It sure seems like America was stronger when I was a kid in the 90's. But how does one objectively look at the strength of a country today and compare it to, say, the 70's? Or the 30's?

Is the country really folding? Is Hillary really going to win? Savage seems right in his commentary but he gets me worried!

I often wonder, are we really dying as a country? It sure seems like America was stronger when I was a kid in the 90's.

You mean during Clinton's "vacation from history," when he bombed from 15,000 feet, and refused to provide enough artillery to our troops in Somalia, and 18 were killed and dragged through the streets?

Is that the manifestation of a strong country?

Bush kicked a hornets nest by invading Iraq, and the wasps are still swarming. There is strength in taking it to the enemy.

Weakness is protectionism and isolationism. Cowering in fear, manufacturing buggy whips and taxing the rich.

When I listened to Savage, most his show was about him.

Particularly poignant to me was his statement "America is dying" but reiterated what else can we do but keep fighting until the end.

America is dying because an al-Qaeda operative is going to spend the rest of his life in Supermax in Florence, Colorado? 23 hours in solitary, no contact with any other human beings unless absolutely necessary?

Savage plays you suckers like a fiddle.

Except that Savage is full of it, as usual.

If you want to know what Moussaoui's life will be like, read what life is like in a Supermax prison.

I know people like to blast Savage......but he hit the nail on the head with his take on Mousaulli(sp)

Miscarriage of justice is exactly right. The jury was handpicked, the case was diverted to this clintoon appointed judge and the liberal defense lawyers used every chance to blast President Bush and his administration.

And it's all you can do to put Michael Savage down.

He's a manic-depressive paranoid. Getting upset because Moussaoui is going to spend the rest of his life in the toughest prison in America is silly.

Hello sinkspur, don't think I've had the pleasure if pleasure is the right word to use. I really don't know which show YOU had listened to but I'm sure it wasn't this one.

I really take exception to your usage to describe Savage listeners as "suckers". Amercia is dying because of many issues, this is just one of the many but they're now coming so fast it'll make one's conservative head spin.

I don't feel I'm a 'sucker' just because I understand and take to heart Savage's heart-wrenching lamentation that "America is dying" and we have no one to turn to for help. So what exactly is your agenda here?

So what exactly is your agenda here?

To shine the light of truth on the piles of BS that the doom-and-gloomers dish out.

Savage is talking you frowners into thinking America is dying. He is speaking heresy to Ronald Reagan's shining city on a hill.

America is still that city, you know. But we've got to have the whiners stop whining and see the tremendous good in our land and the good that we do in the world.

This place is full of negativity. It's time for some positivity.

What is your qualification to analyze Savage? Are you a physiologist?

Since you are not listening to him, I'll tell you that he is more upset that "America got beaten again".
The liberals got what they wanted. "The terrorists are laughing at us".

Mouselli{sp) should not have been tried in a Federal Court. He is not an American citizen.

Turn him on....maybe you'll agree with some of the things he says.

The poster in question is little more than a troll-in-good-standing. Do not attempt to find honest rationale in its posts. In this case there's a consistent effort to smear Mike Savage on FR, likely so FR can officially claim to not be a Savage-friendly forum. Savage is too raw and real for the PTB, so resident trolls-in-good-standing often drop in just to mess on the Savage threads.

If you took Savage's act as something real, rather than his marketing strategy, you would think America was a very thin and fragile glass vase, that could crack just with the slightest zephyr. That of course is demonstrable garbage. America is a very resilient place, among the most resilient, if not the most resilient, nation on the planet. It is resilient, because it is able to flex, the way tall buildings do these days in earthquakes, while leaving the critical structure in place.

I believe so. We can't go out into the streets and protest what is being done to our country for fear of being called "racist" or some other code word intended to shut us up. I for one don't care about those names anymore. They're so watered down it means nothing to me anymore. That is why i would like to see us Americans out there protesting to save our country.

I suspect if you took a poll at FR regarding whether they think Savage is a serious man, worthy of being taken seriously, that a majority would say no. Suggesting that those who are not Savage fans, are trolls, is tendentious, and beyond that, not a majority view on FR. Granted, I have some opinions, that are shared by only a small minority on FR. So keep on punching. Vive le differance.

Greetings, Torie. Far be it from me to suggest that all Savage-bashers are trolls. I was referring specifically to one poster, though there are many who fit the mold round these here parts. It's those who routinely drop in to smear their poo on an otherwise low-key discussion, as if to make sure the discussion doesn't ever get too legit, so to speak. Several topics seem to have their own assigned poo-smearers. Vive le differance, indeed, sir.

Why that is as bad as the liberals claim that 'dittos' mean that Rush listeners don't have their own mind either. Don't you think that we "Savage suckers" can make up our own minds about what Savage broadcasts on his show?

We've come a long way since the Reagan days, ah yes the good ol days. There's not much to be positive about these days between the mad-hatter liberal Democ-Rats who seem to have the upper hand in all our institutions and the squishy Rockfeller Republicans who don't seem to know which way to lead.

So what's a conservative to do to hear his viewpoint expressed? Maybe to conservative forums like this one and conservative talk shows like Michael Savage? So why are you haranging conservatives for listening to him?
