Thank him for his service for us, wontcha? Tell him we're proud of him and "Semper Fi."

Then tell him some Marine jokes - like this one:

An Army Ranger was on vacation in the depths of Louisiana and he wanted a pair of genuine alligator shoes in the worst way, but was very reluctant to pay the high prices the local vendors were asking.

After becoming very frustrated with the "no haggle" attitude of one of the shopkeepers, the Ranger shouted, "maybe I'll just go out and get my own alligator so I can get a pair of shoes at a reasonable price!"

The vendor said, "By all means, be my guest. Maybe you will run into a couple of Marines who were in here earlier saying the same thing."

So the Ranger headed into the bayou that same day and a few hours later came upon two men standing waist deep in the water. He thought, "those must be the two Marines the guy in town was talking about." Just then, the Ranger saw a tremendously long gator swimming rapidly underwater towards one of the Marines.

Just as the gator was about to attack, the Marine grabbed its neck with both hands and strangled it to death with very little effort. Then both Marines dragged it on shore and flipped it on its back. Laying nearby were several more of the creatures.

One of the Marines then exclaimed, "Damn, this one doesn't have any shoes either!"

Semper Fi, baby!

Very cool. You must be jumping up and down, and you should be. It feels good to read such stuff. If I were in that area I would the dude a drink. But I'm not. So, the next time I'm in a bar and see a guy in uniform, I'll ask the barkeep to send him a freebie, in honor of SAMS kid.

Take your right hand and grab your right earlobe. Now give it a gentle squeeze. That's a hug from a thankful American to a Marine parent.

Hurrah!

I remember returning from a long overseas deployment. Never forgot how much you remember about those things. Ronald McDonald was there and I must have eaten eight or nine of those gutbombs to celebrate the return to the good ol' U S of A fun food.

Calling All Hands.

Come join SAMS in welcoming her son home.

I think this calls for a cyber party, don't you? Come one......Come all. Let’s show SAMS, her son, and the family how much we appreciate their sacrifice.

LET'S PAR-TAY................

We’ve got music…….

The Boys are Back by Thin Lizzy

We’ve got dancers……..

We’ve got amusement……

We’ve got food……

We even have our very own Pizza Chef. So we’ll never run out. Dig in.

And, we’ve got drink…..

You know the drill……….. at a cyber party you're only allowed 2. We don't encourage drinking and FReeping. You know what they say, FRiends don't let FRiends drink and FReep.

Thank you for your service. And a little fairy “love dust” for your safe keeping.
