Directionally disabled are ya?

Apparently you didn't read the rest of the thread in which both of us delved well into the debate... nothing like kneejerk reactions huh?

Read this, if you are motivated to learn some facts to base your argument on: http://www.answers.com/topic/barry-goldwater

Goldwater may not have lived up to your expectations as a conservative but if you even agree with GWB on his signing of the CFR bill, then you aren't conservative and his signing of the bill shows that GWB isn't and never was conservative.

The GOP will lose in November because they are not the conservative force the the majority of right thinking Americans believed they voted for in the past.

Open borders, refusal to enforce the rule of law, establishing that congress can abridge the right of free speech (CFR), amnesty for criminal aliens, etc..

No longer is so-called gay issues and the right-to-life arguments going to put the GOP over the top. They have been mutually agreed upon straw-man issues that have been superseded by immigration issues and the attendant issues of national security. It is borders, language, and culture, and if the GOP stays in the way instead of leading on these issues, we will find another set of leaders to show the way.

>>You might want to tell that to the folks pushing the "where else you gonna go" line. They REFUSE to hold the party leadership responsible for anything they do - which insures nothing will change.<<

By all means push them on the issues.. Even get different senate leadership...

But the Religious right already has the reputation as the least dependable of the part of the base - it lessens their influence. If conservative want influence to increase - that means working hard within the party, not sitting home.

tsk, tsk, tsk...n00b, I guess that you don't understand that laptops run on batteries and when one is away on vacation, that's how one uses a laptop, outside, when no outlets are available. But then, your reply is just par for the course; considering what you usually post. LOL

On the radio Rush Limbaugh also warned the GOP many months ago that if they run away from the base regarding illegals, the border and spending, the base just may stay home.

Let's not forget Spector who is making it easy for the dems to try to impeach Bush now! If Spector is a republican Im voting 3rd party.
