CIA Director Goss Resigns after Non-Stop INTERNAL CIA ATTACKS by Democrat Plants

Goss Resignation is a frightening sign

Porter Goss was brought into the CIA to try to reform the organization. Mr. Goss was expected to bring about badly needed changes in the U.S. spy organization that is increasingly at the center of so many controversies. However, Goss never had a chance.

Rarely reported by the very biased media, much of the CIA and the U.S. Justice Department was "cleared out" during the Clinton Administration. Many of the key legal organizations responsible for America's security and stability were then staffed by Hillary Clinton handpicked staffers. Some of them hired from the outside, some promoted from within. (Hillary and her Secret War - How the Clintons have forever corrupted the Whitehouse)

The Whitehouse announcement of Mr. Goss's resignation, a man known as a reformer, is more of an indication of the inside resistance to making the CIA actually accountable to America.

In the last 2 years, the only information leaked to the media is consistently anti-Bush, and anti-Republican. The biased media, the Democratic Party, and the CIA almost appear to be coordinating their own special, covert operation to attack Bush, the Republican Party, and America. The CIA is so clearly an extension of the Democratic Party, and is so fully engaged in overt acts of Treason that it is time for a Justice Department investigation and some LONG prison sentences.

Over the past several months, as much of official Washington looked on wide-eyed and agog, many in the CIA bureaucracy have waged an unabashed effort to undermine the current administration.

At the height of the campaign, CIA officials, who are supposed to serve the president and stay out of politics and policy, served up leak after leak to discredit the president's Iraq policy. There were leaks of prewar intelligence estimates, leaks of interagency memos. In mid-September, somebody leaked a CIA report predicting a gloomy or apocalyptic future for the region.

White House officials concluded that they could no longer share important arguments and information with intelligence officials. They had to parse every syllable in internal e-mail. One White House official says it felt as if the CIA had turned over its internal wastebaskets and fed every shred of paper to the press.

The White House-CIA relationship became dysfunctional, and while the blame was certainly not all on one side, Langley was engaged in slow-motion, brazen insubordination, which violated all standards of honorable public service. It was also incredibly stupid, since CIA officials were betting their agency on a Kerry victory.

At the height of the campaign, the CIA permitted an analyst - who, we now know, is Michael Scheuer - to publish anonymously a book called "Imperial Hubris," which attacked Bush policy. Here was an official on the president's payroll publicly campaigning against his boss. As Scheuer told The Washington Post this week, "As long as the book was being used to bash the president, they - the CIA honchos - gave me carte blanche to talk to the media." (Bush must clamp down on CIA officials who subvert his policies)

Sadly however, there will never be a Justice Department investigation into the Democrat / Clinton Corruption of the Central Intelligence Agency. The Justice Department is filled with Clinton chosen Lawyers as well. So we have Treason in the media, Treason in the CIA, and Treason in the Democratic Party.

Is it any wonder that Porter Goss is resigning? My only surprise is that he lasted as long as he did.

Thank you Porter for your service to this country, and I am sincerely saddened that those such as you, who wish to protect this country, are routinely run out by politicos who have now infested every level and layer of our country. It is a sad day indeed.

President Bush made a cardinal error in leaving the CIA and State intact after 9/11 when he had the chance. Both should have been cleaned out from top to bottom and re-staffed with loyal new people. Now it's too late and we're paying the price.

Sounds more like an excuse. If it is true, then the Pubies should do their own "clearing out". As this hasn't happened, then I doubt it happened during the Rats last administration.

All this whining about Clinton operatives in the various organs of the government. The Bush administration is going on it's 5th year and has ample opportunity to clean house. They should just just get on with it. The usual suspects will spew their hate and lies, but so what?

Then Goss needs to step up to the plate and blow this thing out of the water. He needs to have a press conference and name names. Let the chips fall where they may. Clean out that rats nest once and for all. What'll happen to him if he does that...lose his job?

Now THIS is a problem that GWB should be able to tackle. I understand he is on good terms with a former director of the CIA, George the Elder. It should be easy to get insights as to how to get this thing back under control.

Barring that, a new Homeland Sercurity agency supplants the CIA for most vital functions.

When we change Presidents, it is customary for most top officials in these agencies to tender resigntations to make reorganization move more smoothly. Before Clinton, most were not accepted and the person remained in place. Clinton accepted them all... prosecutors, administrators, everyone. Then he filled the organizations with hand picked liberals.

With his "new tone," President Bush did not accept many at all. I suspected this would be an issue when Clinton first took office, but the Bush policy has made it worse. Keeping your enemies closer only works if you are willing to watch them and protect yourself from them.

I disagree. The stupid party isn't called that for no reason. They always leave the RATS in place when they take over something, whether it's an executive agency like the CIA or the Defense Dept, or a congressional committee.

"much of the CIA and the U.S. Justice Department was "cleared out" during the Clinton Administration"

And replaced by clintoonians. Now, Colin Powell and Condi Rice upon taking over the State Dept both said that no changes would be made and look where that's gotten us. The CIA and Justice wasn't cleared out either. Look where that's gotten us. In a world of sh*t!

....But the Bush family loves the Clintons. Why would they clear out anything? They enjoy giving the reigns of government off to the Clintons. It's becoming the normal concept.

The same insiders who 'duped' Clinton into bombing an aspirin factory continued to 'dupe' Bush on rosey Iraq. If Clinton didn't oust them and Bush didn't oust them, they are a protected class of cooks with a Presidential seal of approval.

Most of the Clinton Shenanigans happened "under the radar" of a complicit media. In fact, all of the "Monica" talk, and all of the furor over his PERJURY helped to cover up some of the most heinous treason an elected president has ever committed in this country...

However, very little of this was reported, and what was, quickly got "hushed." If Bush were to try to do ANY housecleaning the Democrat Propaganda Machine of ABC, CBS, NBC, and CNN would be screaming day and night. They'd be propping up third parties to call Bush a Nazi, kind of like they do now, but with MUCH more intensity.

IIRC, one of the first things clinton did was fire all 93 US Attorney Generals and replace them with his own flacks.
Probably the biggest reason he and the beast are still free.

I second this. Porter Goss had his challenges in the beginning with many people who were loyal to George Tenet ureluctant to give him a chance. As time went along, he began to win the loyalty of many who believed he would do some serious "housecleaning" without creating a bloodbath. He proved himself to be an excellent D/CIA. I can't imagine him quitting so suddenly, no serving out, and there's something yet to be revealed. I doubt it's something as simple as his not getting along with Negroponte. Goss is a professional. It will be interesting to see this play out.

About Michael Hayden
http://www.af.mil/bios/bio.asp?bioID=5746
"Gen. Michael V. Hayden is Principal Deputy Director of National Intelligence, Washington, D.C. Appointed by President George W. Bush, he is the first person to serve in this position. General Hayden is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the national intelligence program. He is the highest-ranking military intelligence officer in the armed forces."

Looks like Hayden is taking over critical intelligence possibly because CIA is TOO CORRUPT!

IOW, the CIA was not being fixed fast enough and if they can't prosecute Mary McCarthy, then just pull the rug and give the key assets to another trusted professional.

You're probably right and the clean up may be bigger than Goss can handle? It's really not that bad of timing because they're close enough to summer recess and Bush can get someone in there under a recess appointment since any hearings the Rats will be double obstructionist.

Do we suppose that Bush will ever wake up to the fact
that this is not his 2nd term: it's Clinton's 4th.

counter-intelligence operations take time.
First you "cast the bait" then you see who takes the hook"
Think of all the leaks that have come out of CIA, then imagine IF the "facts" were exposed as fabrications and it leads us to the moles within our Intelligence Community.
Ah, I love it when a plan comes together.
