Look...you guys know NJ like you know Iraq! All you hear about is the corruption, places like the Turnpike, Camden and Newark....there are some really nice and lovely areas in NJ....just know one hears about them :-)
"New Jersey: The Dry Heaves State.
New Jersey: You gotta problem with that?
"Kiss her where it smells... take her to New Jersey."
And screw all you losers makin fun of Jersey. Funny how the same ppl making lame toxic waste jokes are probably big supporters of the kind of policies that lead to toxic waste dumps. Most of you have probably never been here. We've got great restaurants, beaches, mountains, lakes, rivers, sports, arts, woods, farms, fishing, hunting. And yes, a ton of businesses which means a ton of jobs. That's why us NJers make so much money. So screw YOU!
"Jersey, the slogan state."
It's Probably Buried Here
We have a winner!
I still like... "What Exit?"
How about: "We be too stoopid to have a slogan!"
Shhhhh -- we don't need any more "immigrants"....
The new New Jersey slogan:
"Jersey!!! You got a problem with that???!!!
Ducking for cover.
yeah, I've been there... Barnegatt Light, the Shore, Cinnaminson , Piney Woods and inumerable other "exits" off the tollway.. Met some nice women and girls, but it's strange to talk to a beautiful girl and she sounds like Fat Tony Soprano.
As far as living there... what a f'ing joke. It's the most corrupt or almost as corrupt as Pennsylvania. It's a bunch of old farts that need "connections" to make anything "happen" as far as business. Bunch of parasites.. that goes for most of the Northeast. Taxes are just the "little" peoples way of screwing the "connected" guys.
It's just a culture of screw your buddy, what can I get away with and general sleeziness. There is no effort of even pretending that they "stand" for something. Jersey is a second rate New York and Massachusettes with an inferiority complex so big that they have to try to out "liberal" the other sh#t holes in the Northeast to appear "progressive" and "innovative".
Taxes out the nose, hostile business environment, selective enforcement of laws,... I'm just surprised that they haven't elected a kennedy to put the cherry on the whole manure sundae.
NJ does "kick ass"... it kicks it's citizen's asses and they deserve it for letting the powers that be get away with it.
How about we scrap our new governor, the formerly acting governor an 95% of our elected officials of both parties.
NJ: "high taxes for our future!"
"Halfway to Nowhere"
"Armpit of the MidAtlantic"
"Come for a Gay Old Time"
Oh come on man. I live in NJ. This is one of the most corrupt states in the nation, and is a total cesspool. Democratic control of this state has destroyed the economy- we may have a ton of businesses yes; that is, a ton of businesses LEAVING this state because of its absurd tax burden and ridiculous liberal policies.
Jon Corzine is running this state into the ground. And being that the idiots of this state elected him, New Jersey deserves every bit of criticism it gets.
As an Arizonan who had never been east of Ohio, I used to always rag on "Joisey." But a few years ago, I was there for a week and fell in love with the place. We were mostly in the Princeton area, but visited several gorgeous sites across the state.
Sure, when we drove around Newark and parts of Trenton, it wasn't too good, but everyplace else was pretty amazing. I agree that NJ gets an undeserved bad rap.
"It's strange to talk to a beautiful girl and she sounds like Fat Tony Soprano"
That's IT!!!! That's the new New Jersey slogan.
You are the winner.
Gateway to hell
My favorite of the earlier suggestions was: "New Jersey: Not As Bad As You Think."
"Met some nice women and girls, but it's strange to talk to a beautiful girl and she sounds like Fat Tony Soprano."
If she talks with that dialect, she's probably from Philadelphia.
(And screw all you losers makin fun of Jersey. So screw YOU!)
Well, that's a little long for a slogan but it's as just good as the others.
New Jersey - It Sucks!
"You may survive"
Some very, very good ones here no question. But I kinda like, "Visit New Jersey, or we will break your kneecaps." Succinct, yet touching.
New Jersey - "Come See For Yourself where America's enema tube is inserted"
Although I still miss, New Joisy an yew, purrfict tagetta.
LOL... how about "It's Crap, But Thats What Makes It Jersey!"
Isn't that just awful? I thought it was still under consideration and there was a chance for something more intelligent, until I started seeing it in print. jeez.
"If You Think New Jersey Is Bad, You Should Have Seen Old Jersey!"
Fellow New Jersey Suffering Dittos, Sunny.
New Jersey: The Sopranos are filmed here.....
Sounds like you have it all... except for a state slogan.
Destroyed the economy??? Yeah, I guess that's why they're selling homes in Sparta Twp. for 1.5 mil. It's because the economy here is so bad! Jon Corzine's been Gov for about 15 minutes. You're being hysterical.
What a crock. I know plenty of regular guys doing fine with their businesses without any hassles. Glad you left, sissy boy.
That's fine. Slogans are for losers.
New Jersey. Where New York football teams go to die.
Hey, that sounds like a winner! Just kidding. I have only been through NJ once and thought it was nice. NJ is in the unfortunate position of being the butt of jokes just like Cleveland Ohio.
New Jersey - What are ya lookin' at?
We know what's best for you.
Liberalism on the march.
Do what I say not what I do.
Who the hell cares what houses are selling for here? That's no reasoning for the strength of New Jersey's economy. The only reason property values are so high here is because NJ is between Philadelphia, Washington DC, and New York. Take those three away and this state is dead, because it cannot sustain its own economic growth under the current leadership.
Homes sell for hell of a lot more in California than they do here, yet California isn't exactly a beacon of economic strength. Find a better talking point than "homes are selling for millions" if you want to try to defend a state that is rapidly on its way to becoming a Massachusetts/California hybrid.
I've gotten suspended on NJ threads cuz people piss me off.
I like my slogan best..."New Jersey -- Superfund cleanup capital of the U.S.A."
"New Jersey. Better than the Old Jersey."
