Hispanics regularly vote 65% or more democrat everywhere except Florida. How does that benefit Republicans?
Throwing around that old stat while claiming Hispanics are irrelevant is what will lead the GOP to the sidelines by '08.
The percentage of Hispanics voting Republican for president has grown. And why wouldn't it? They're increasingly running businesses and rising into the middle and upper classes.

I don't seem to recall ever claiming Hispanics are irrelevant. Those that are here illegally that are demanding citizenship priviliges should be irrelevent to our congress. If our congress caves in to their demands, the republicans will be a minority party.

The percentage may grow slightly every year. Trouble is we will be a minority party until enough of them begin to understand the benefits of conservatism. By then it will be too late, we will have become a socialist third world country.
Well, I would hope. . .and do not see a contradiction here. . .
