Kerry "troubled" by Hayden CIA nomination May 8, 2006 NASHUA, N.H. --Massachusetts Sen. John Kerry says he's troubled and has "serious reservations" about President Bush's nomination of General Michael Hayden to be director of the Central Intelligence Agency. Kerry says his concerns stem from Hayden's involvement in the Bush administration's domestic surveillance program, which Hayden used to oversee as the former head of the National Security Agency. Kerry made the comments to reporters after speaking at a convention of New Hampshire's professional fire fighters association in Nashua. Delaware Sen. Joseph Biden also is scheduled to speak at the convention. Biden said earlier that Hayden's nomination could create the impression that the C-I-A is being consumed by the Defense Department.

Maybe you should try becoming president, Hermann, than you can nominate somebody different for the job.

Biden said earlier that Hayden's nomination could create the impression that the C-I-A is being consumed by the Defense Department.

And that would be bad why?

He's a mite irritable from those splinters up his backside after having to sit on that Senate fence again while aides run polls telling him what to be mad about. Schmuck.

Kerry is troubled, but I doubt if it has or had anything to do with a CIA nomination.

Kerry has "serious reservations" on how to wipe his butt. He is without a clue when it comes to dealing with normal people or telling the truth about his "days" and they was damn few, in Nam.
He needs to open up his military records. I'd bet a night on the town that he is hiding a general discharge. General discharges were given to screw-ups who were being kicked out of the military.

Yes, but is he "deeply saddened"?

That might get me worried.

The Dims have such deep thoughts and "feelin's" don't they?

Had Kerry not involved himself in treasonous activity decades ago and been caught at it, this would be his decision to make now. It really is time to him to learn that decisions have consequences.

"Kerry 'troubled' by Hayden CIA nomination"

***

And so what's his "plan" for the CIA? He usually has a "plan." If it's anything like his "plan" to end the war in Iraq.....

If we dig a bit, we'll find out that Kerry was an Admiral in the Cambodian Navy.

Someone get John Kerry a Roget's Thesaurus. Can't he think of a better description for his emotions than "troubled?" With such a wide range of deep feelings and expressions is it no wonder that he won the Presidency? /sarc

He just wants to say something to get his name in front of his liberal base.

The only serious reservations this scarecrow ever had in his life while in public office is which of his wife's credit cards were going to buy his next meal.

Would he have felt any different with anyone Bush would have nominated? Not sure why this is news.

Actually, there are some real thorny issues here. The Randy "Duke" Cunningham scandal, for one, with tie-ins between the congressional bribery investigation, defense contractors, and spook agency higher-ups.

"Duke" was wearing a wire, for quite a while. There's more here than meets the eye, I think.

I think the word "troubled" is standard for the moonbat/leftist/socialists. Notice that they tend to all use the same words all the time. Not one original thought.

And so what's his "plan" for the CIA?

I think he wants to return the CIA to the way it operated pre-9/11...so we can have another 9/11.
