One thing I've noticed is that the Bushbots really get emotional.

UNFORTUNATELY, THE RINO'S HAVE CHANGED THE LOCK

I'm not so sure if there is a such thing as a RINO anymore as the GOP leadership (Bush, Frist, Lott, McCain) could be considered RINOs.

Well I think he has done a fine job a packing the Federal courts with conservatives, something Bush I or Reagan failed to do. That's the real long term benefit. You can't have everything.

We don't know that yet - we had high hopes for O'Conner, Souter and Kennedy too. If Bush thought that Miers was the best choice for the Supreme Court then I really have to wonder if his judgment is very good on his other appointments.

"The Republican Party in Washington has so betrayed the people who put it in office that it deserves to go down in flames. The president, the Congress and the party to which they both belong have the public-approval ratings they have earned. They are getting what they deserve."

Do you disagree with that?

Sorry concerned, I don't detect any Bush "hate" on this thread. I think there are a bunch of conservative Republicans, including many Freepers, that want Republicans to act like Republicans. If you would stop your juvenile "repeat after me" and "HSSSS'' and just read the article and comments, you would see that.

CONSERVATIVES HOLD KEY TO GOP FUTURE

Not if you listen to any of the RNC cheerleaders around these parts. They don't need us at all.

I've got a better idea than teaching Republicans a lesson. Instead, let's destroy the Democrat party.

The donks can already taste their new majority status. Imagine if Republicans defy all odds and gain seats once again ... then win with, say, George Allen in 2008.

The Dem party will be demoralized, disillusioned ... and might just splinter into irrelevancy. In the meantime, two or three more conservative justices will transform the Supreme Court.

Then ... in the resulting political reallignment ... we can tinker with the notion of a "true conservative" party.

Not now ... with Nancy Pelosi drooling over the Speaker's gavel.

I think President Bush is a good man; but a conservative he is not.

So you follow the new leaders. The Liberal press.

Haven't you noticed the media is spamming everywhere about how EVERYBODY HATES BUSH and so should you because you're a conservative? Haven't you noticed the democrats cheering you on? Haven't you noticed the chuckling by the press? You're being egged on, and you're following like a good little useful idiot.

If you don't like what the Republicans are doing, don't abandon them in exchange for democrats. Speak up and crack down instead of cracking up!

Get a grip, people. What the hells the matter with you? Take a good look at what you're REALLY doing! Straighten up, and snap out of it!!

Senate Republicans might as well be Democrats.

Except in one or two cases, you are correct sir.

We'll have Bush and the Republicans out of power in no time!!!!

Thank god!!! We successfully passed more conservative legislation when we were the minority party.

It seems that the Republican Party is going out of its way to give conservatives the finger.

It's not The Finger. It's The Shaft.

I'm glad I can vote for a real conservative tomorrow. Needless to say, he's gotten little support from the GOP but, like Tom Coburn, may get elected anyway. I can only hope!

In short, the Republican president and the Republican Congress have stopped being Republican.

Oh they are Republican enough. Just not as conservative as they should be.

You are more accurate. I stand corrected.

Suicide becomes you and the poster to whom you responded ... but excuse the rest of us if we don't join in the exercise. I intend to get MORE pubbies into the House and then hound the hell out of them for things like a closed border North and South and spending cuts. You dolts seem to have a fairytale belief that if democrats come back into power they will listen to you. HAH! No wonder the pubbies get away with ignoring republican voters; you guys don't deserve a serious listen if suicide is your goal.

Is there any wonder the conservatives republicans are doing so badly with robots like yourself pretending everything is hunky dory?

What is it with all you 2004 people bashing Bush? Is it just a coincidence, or are you Kerry worshipers in Conservative clothing?

I support the Republicans 100%!I can see what the press is doing, and I say screw them. I'm not a fool. I may not approve of everything Bush has done, but I'll be damned if I'm going to let the press tell me who I'll support and who I won't.

They're feeding you poison, and you think it's sugar.

Democrat glee and talk of impeaching President Bush if they take control of Congress may be the only thing that keeps the remaining conservatives on board.

Or maybe not...it would seem to me leaving the republicans to the tender mercies of the democrats would teach them once and for all the folly of screwing your supporters to ingratiate yourself with your enemies.

They may have to get along with the women at the office, but at the end of the day they still have to come home to "momma."

I will use myself as an example. In 2000 I walked the streets of the Bronx and NYC doing voter fraud and poll watching.

In 2004, I went down to Florida for a week to campaign for the GOP and do canvassing board, poll watching GOTV.

There were many like me who were down there because of the Supreme Court and WOT, and in spite of the GOP big spending and love affair with illegals.

HOWEVER, I have had enough with the GOP and will not volunteer my time as I did for past elections.

When picking suicide slow vs. suicide fast, dying a slow death seems much more painful. I will never ever vote RAT, but I will not bend over for the GOP anymore.
