"And I hope you sleep well at night knowing the knife you will have stuck in the back of every U.S. solider fighting in the current war."
And what exactly is Tom Kean Jr. going to do for the War on Terror? Maybe he can contribute to the War on Terror like his father by writing another 9/11 report trashing the Pentagon.
It's not just about immigration. "Republicans" like Tom Kean Jr. and Arlen Specter UNDERMINE THE WAR ON TERROR. Wouldn't the military be stronger without Arlen Specter controlling the Senate Judiciary committee and threatening to investigate Don Rumsfeld? Better to have a Democrat than another Arlen Specter or Lincoln Chafee in the Senate.

I would not worry. This web site is NOT the totality of Conservative thinking. It has also been infiltrated by many who would like nothing more than for the Conservative agenda to be defeated. We wont lose the Congress, in fact, things are going to happen to insure that we PICK UP seats by November. Just like in 2002.

The answer isn't to put anti-American, anti-soldier democrats in office....it is to put more conservative republicans in office. That's ideally how it should be. But when said anti-American anti-soldier quasi-socialist Democrats are being opposed by "Democrats Lite," it doesn't really inspire a lot of enthusiasm.
I really think a case can be made that we may be better off with a split government, because then at least the President may utilize the veto pen. He seems to be afraid to do it as long as Republicans are in charge of Congress.
Plus, the weakened GOP would have to go back to its roots if it lost power, because it would have to give people a reason to give them power back.

The House has delivered much more when it comes to fiscal conservatismSorry - have you seen the appropriation bills coming out of the house??? Where is there any fiscal discipline? The highway bill was nothing but a blatant attempt to try and buy votes at the expense of the nation.
The Republicans are spending like drunken sailors.

Then you are just going to have to be upset. We've had enough. I'm sure the Democrat party will love you for helping them get elected.

So basically we should vote for Ralph Nader if he puts an 'R' after his name...
Got it.

I'm confident a Democratic congress will be just as responsive as the Republican congress has been. I take it then that you are opposed to tax cuts, support left wing justices, want to repeal the 2nd amendment and favor gay marriage.

I promise you, a Democratic Congress won't be nearly as responsive to your needs. Bravo. Well Said.

Thank you for an intelligent well-thought out post. I completely and wholeheartedly agree with you. I am not willing to sacrifice my future or that of my children & grandchildren for a game of "teach 'em a lesson". The thought of the Progressive Caucus running the house makes me sick to my stomach.
To: inquest
No, don't bother trying to deny it. Your own post proves it. Oh my, the great inquest has spoken, and that settles all matters. I tremble before your keen insight.

You are decieved. There was no tax cut. The vast increase in spending comes out of taxpayer hide one way or another.
