McCain's track record is just too much. I couldn't bring myself to vote for him no matter what. He's about the same as a dim the way I see it.
2008 - No Bushes, No Clintons
What's he supposed to say about his brother?
"No, he'd be terrible. I can't believe he's stayed governor so long!"
Seesh
LOL! :-)
I swear, it's getting nuttier by the day, ain't it? :)
It is!
And I take it from your distinction that you believe there is some realistic chance the terrorists won't be "against us"?
Please don't throw me in the briar patch.
No. It's just that he never made the 'with us or against us' ultimatum that is often attributed to him.
I think you are right.
The twins should run in 2028.
One for President, the other for Vice President.
The time will be right. They will be old enough and still hot.

Gotta be Bar for POTUS, right? And Jenna for VP?
"I'm for Allen!! He's as close to Reagan and Goldwater as we'll get."
Sadly, you are probably right. The up and comers in the party are pathetic (except Pence...but he's not running).
He'd make a great VP for 2008.
Your score - H1
I think Newt is exactly who we need right now... and (if he runs) who I plan to vote for in the primary.
Newt is an extremely effective communicator and I think he would eviscerate any other candidate in the debates. For years I marveled at his ability to counter fastball questions from Sunday-show hosts. I wish George W. had his communication talent.
I wish he did as well... I would love to see a debate between Newt and Hillary -- he is always so calm and reasoned and she is so shrill -- he would drive her to show her true self and he'd do it with an Irish grin on his face at the same time.
