Chevez and Iran could easily test resolve by going past the 30 day point.

And just how do you think the military of these countries will react to not getting paid?

We are 8% dependent on Venezuela's oil; they are 100% dependent. They are skating on the edge of bankruptcy all the time, they are having to buy oil to make up shortfalls.

We can pay $5 a gallon if we have to. They can't go a day without oil income. Chavez lives by his ability to buy favor, and he is bankrupting his country to do it, even at the current high prices. Cut off his money, and he's gone.

But that won't happen. If Iran goes off line, and it will if we get mad enough at them, we'll shut off the Straits of Hormuz to Iranian traffic, oil will no doubt go to $100 a barrel. Given the choice of financial collapse, or selling at $100 a barrel, Chavez will sell oil.

you have to remember...at best...you only have 60-90 days of oil.

Are you assuming all other sources of oil are going to end as well? The SPR contains 463 day worth of the average amount of oil we have imported from Venezuela.

President Chavez can k my a, take his CITGO with him. If there was every a gas station to boycott CITGO is it.

A few months ago, I was hearing ads on the radio about CITGO stations being individually owned and encouraging customers to visit. I wonder if stations are feeling the pinch of a boycott? If so, good.

"I think the world is coming to a very large push comes to shove soon and a lot of people are going to die."

Actually, because most of our country has turned it's back on president Bush, the dims will get the power and we will simply surrender.

"This is one political assassination that I wouldn't bat an eye at."

True, yet plenty seem to get thier panties in a bunch when Pat Robertson mentioned it months ago.

"The North American empire is the most cruel murderer regime that has ever come to power in world history and a serious threat for all nations." - Hugo Chavez

Sure, Hugo baby, sure.

Mao...

Stalin...

Hitler...

Pol Pot...

...and that's just a select few from the 20th Century.

A typical Communist, the man lies like a rug!

In addition to being a business partner of the Kennedys, this makes Chavez an ally of Iran, an enemy of the United States.

Politics does indeed make strange bedfellows.

I also wish we would rout out the traitors and 5th columnists in our midst and put them on trial.

Probably a higher priority than the first part.

>>>Chavez: Oil for no one if Iran attacked>>>

I am the leader of the world!!!

Seriously, this is why we have to have the ABILITY, even if we don't use it until necessary, the ability to provide our own oil.

My car boycotts it. If I even think of putting that crap in my car it jumps up and spanks me with the door.

President Bush turned his back on OUR COUNTRY by caring more about what a fox in Mexico thinks instead of his constituents!
