I never watch Oprah. Got better things to do.
To: beaversmom
Oprah is only rich. Other than that, I don't want to be anything like her.

Why is he discussing Goddess Oprah? There is an article out that she is considered by millions of Americans to be America's spiritual leader.
To: beaversmom
Just tuned in. It should be interesting to hear why Oprah is a "spiritual leader". Gag me!

Oprah is a smart businesswoman....
she had a better idea and ran with it.
If she was a conservative no one would know her name.

First caller was a 23 year old female that watches Oprah everyday and gets inspiration from her.
To: beaversmom
Hasn't she been that to her loyal viewers for yrs already?

Hopefully she doesn't pull an L. Ron Hubbard...
To: beaversmom
She was a piece of work. She wasn't making much sense at all and Mike is such a nice guy he could have really made her look bad quickly. When he read the topics of the week for Oprah and he pressed her for which one gave her spiritual guidance, I laughed out loud.
I know many women of all ages who are as wide eyed and dimwitted as that caller. I know many men like that, too.

Thanks for the stream links. None of the local stations carry Medved and I think he's far more entertaining than Limbaugh or Hannity.
To: beaversmom
At a sidewalk cafe in Chicago about 10 years ago - having lunch with a female co-worker - Oprah and her body guards walk past - co-worker says "Look! There's Oprah" Pause.. then she says "Look. She's staring at your french fries!"

You know she easily could. I think some of these doe eyed Stepford wives out there would follow her off a cliff.

My guess is that these "millions of Americans" are all women who vote Democrat because they think republicans are "mean" and who also think they really "understand the issues" and are "deep thinkers".

She's a complete fraud who started out teaching numerology classes in Los Gatos, CA. She's just good at promoting herself. I've also heard her on C2C and she hasn't been accurate once. :)
To: beaversmom
Medved gets Oprah and Hannity gets Winfrey.
What is this all about.
Wait, don't tell me......I DON'T CARE

And that's incredibly sad. Her entire philosophy is based on nothing more than adolescent self-absorption and ego in New Age wrapping. Boring! Mightily boring!

Slyvia makes more sense than Noori. What is it with the people who host C2C.
Art Bell runs off to marry his online sweetie in the Philippines....they all hate this President and this country truth be told.

"What is it with the people who host C2C."
C2C used to be a lot of fun and some interesting listening for us insomniacs. It's turned into a rather idiotic sideshow. My primary purpose in listening was to hear the latest govt conspiracy theories which I find amusing. The hosts now are uninformed and boring. Noory spends most of his time plugging his new book and this is the third or fourth Art Bell meltdown over the past ten years. Unreal!
To: virginiaspook
I was rather amazed that Bell's wife died from an asthma attack in their bed at night while on vacation.
Having asthma, I can assure you the attacks are NOT silent.
Within a very short time he had a new online sweetie lined up and he left the country to marry the woman.

Yes. I think many people were surprised by that. There are plenty of holes in the entire story. Backchannel me and I'll send you the name of a list that deals with this issue in detail.
To: OldFriend

I was talking about the red flag that got me thinking about the story of Bell's wife having an asthma attack at night in their hotel room. She died. He then got a new honey whom he married within three months and left the country.....and oh yes, he got rid of the five cats too.
The new wife is young VERY young.

I disagree with MM on quite a few issues, but he is the better of the trio of Hannity, Limbaugh and Medved. He is very intelligent, and allows discussion on subjects the others won't touch.

It is frightening how they scream when she comes on. It reminds me of 60's teenaged girls when the Beatles were introduced, but these are women from 25 - 55 mainly. It just goes to show you that a world leader could arise with enough charisma to lead us off a cliff. We would all die smiling.

My brother BELIEVES that Sylvia Browne is a true psychic, and never misses her on a show she is on. Of course he has brain damage, and claims that reincarnation is a reality.......it might be the meds.

I wanted to reply to you but our modem has been locking up and wouldn't let me on the Internet. New modem now.
Yes, MM was really kind to her. It's nice how he can disagree with someone but not disparage them. Now if that girl really wanted to learn something, she would listen to Prager and Medved instead of getting inspiration from neo-faux God Oprah.
I used to like the black lady on MAD TV that portrayed Oprah--they not only made the audience as a bunch of worshipers but had Oprah thinking she was a god. I have a
feeling that's very true to life on both accounts.
