Chavez: Oil For No One if Iran is Attacked

Visiting Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez said in Rome on Thursday in case of a military attack against Iran, no country in the world would have access to crude oil.

Chavez made the remark at a press conference, adding, “As Iran’s President Ahmadinejad has reiterated, if Tehran would come under attack, oil would get scarce for everyone.”

He also said that the US President George W. Bush should be put to trial at the international court of justice for having launched genocide in Iraq. “For all the horror it has created around the globe in the course of the past century, the United States’ war machine should be dismantled, since under the current conditions it is a threat against the entire mankind, particularly against our children.”

Chavez added, “The North American empire is the most cruel murderer regime that has ever come to power in world history and a serious threat for all nations.”

He believes the death of the United States had better taken place in the course of the 21st century, because “otherwise the entire world would face the threat of annihilation.”

Build those nuclear plants.
Shut down those borders; fewer illegals, less need for fuel.
Put the darned windfarms up and down the coast of Massachussetts
(and in other spots).
NOW!

Losers like Chavez whose obvious goal in life is to have even more money than his hero/mentor, Castro, threaten, extort, and blackmail with impunity the best country that has ever existed.

And still we allow the opec-funded enviro whackos to prohibit domestic drilling and the building of new refineries.

Shoot his ass,

If we're going to be cursed as the world's super terrorists - then lets earn the title....

In a dangerous world, full of lunatics - it's far better to be feared than loved or hated.

Time for the late 60's to be resurrected. Democracy is democracy is legitimately offered. Election of insanity is an anomaly to be corrected.

He's really not worried about not having money, or about the peasants. He can shoot all the peasants he needs at any time.

No, the proper response is to announce a blockade of Venezuela. Tell them we don't want their oil or anything else, and nobody else can have it either. Then he can stare at the $100 prices of his dreams, but he won't sell a drop.

Nah, its easy. Here is how you do it. You announce that the world has had a free ride for 60 years, but the ride is now over. Henceforth, commodities transiting the high seas will be charged a small fee. Anyone not paying will be sunk. Then you go to each in turn and make offers. Long term contracts at $50 and free transit. Or charge whatever they like and try to get it past 50 SSNs.

You mean Venezuelans won't get to fill up their cars for 50 cents a gallon? Oh the horror!
