Fitz knows one thing for certain. He does not need a case to convict a Republican in a DC federal court. That is the only thing that anyone needs to know. Hell DC courts juries can't even bring themselves to give the death penalty to a 911 terrorist. They would fry Libby or Rove in a New York minute.

Exactly so, on all counts; unfortunately.

Don't spout off until you know what you are talking about. (Of course, I exempt myself from this rule.)That's obvious from your post.

I think what you're picking up on is the press playing a game of Twister and losing. They are weighing everything they write about leaking in order to protect "good" leaking, and simply tossing mud and seeing what sticks in the "bad" leaking story.
I don't see them getting so outraged that a CIA officer with a political agenda sent her SPOUSE on a top-secret mission of such importance.
Can you imagine the uproar if before the war it was revealed that the evidence of Saddam's seeking WMD came from a CIA agent who sent his WIFE who wasn't a CIA agent to look around for the info?

This is getting real old. Our so called "Free Press" is as bad as Pravda. One of these days all hell is gonna break loose.

Scary is right...it seems to me the questions the Vice President asked were obvious and responsible. (But I guess in the minds of the media, being a leftist is the only qualification you need to do critical intelligence work.)

I just rechecked your spinning of Starr and no, you're not right. He screwed that case up bigtime. And yes, he DID focus on the sex side of it too much. Your interpretation simply doesn't jibe with reality--claiming that there was a lot more in Starr's slipshod job that people "just ignored" doesn't make it so.

You might find this interview of interest.
It certainly reinforces my belief, but you may say the same about yours.

First I find it interesting that you reference an interview of Starr by Jim Lehrer of PBS. Secondly, I question either your reading comprehension or your motive.
You are parroting the view of JL and the leftist media, not what Ken Starr said. What he said backs my position 100%.
Perhaps you should reread it. While you are at it read David Schipper's book, "Sellout: The Inside Story of President Clinton's Impeachment". It more than validates what I said.

Furthermore, Novak called CIA and they confirmed her CIA employment. That fact seems to often be forgotten.
We also know that Wilson was reimbursed for his travel to Africa. Since his trip was not classified (after all, he wrote about it in great detail in his op-ed), I would expect that some sort of travel voucher was prepared and signed to authorize payment. It would be interesting to see the names on that travel voucher.
