Actually, I think PD is OK. He tends to get a tad excited and full of himself though.
I post, and repost, his 'prognostications' to hopefully bring him down to earth.
He flew one of these if I'm not mistaken. But that gives him no more insight into non-aeronautical matters than those who did not.
After all, of our two greatest Presidents, one never served, and one was restricted to non-combat duty on account of his very poor eyesight.
