PJ, I really think Savage is mentally ill. He comes on a talk show here in the evening and when I have the radio on I make sure I don't hear him. Once listening to him by accident was enough!

He was on the local station KSFO for years before going national, and was the only thing to listen to in the SF Bay area that was live and not sports, news/traffic, or ultra-liberal (or spanish).

I am watching the replay on CSPAN. It is alot better watching it on TV than it was this afternoon watching it over live internet streaming video. Tony has done a superb job in my opinion. Very much in command of the situation.

Thanks for the thread and the transcript. I'm in a cable-free zone, so all I saw of the Presser was on NBC news tonight. Brian Williams, in his bemused fashion, showed just the emotional part of the presser when Tony was asked about the Livestrong bracelet. Tony is not only a breath of fresh air, but the sunshine coming out, the flowers blooming, the birds singing... It's been a long, long, dreary winter, proverbially speaking.

If you haven't gone to that link, you need to. It's very funny. You have several on there claiming that "tar baby" is racist, but then, someone points out that people on that forum use the term all the time. If you do a search on DU you will find "tar baby" over and over again. Very funny!!! I couldn't imagine being so paranoid about the proper word to use, it's a level of P.C. that I've never seen before...

A real late reply to your post -- I'm not a fan of RealPlayer. Unless they have changed, the program is full of bloatware, trys to take charge of your machine and also install spyware. Stay away from it.
