Now if we could only get rid of our two abortion happy senators out here in la-la land I could rest in peace comfortably.

Our real enemies are radical Islamist regimes.

"I see, here comes the cheering section for a Dem Victory.

I would suggest that you and many others in this forum, need to recognize the difference between blind loyalty to a Political Party versus loyalty to whomever best represents the principals of conservatism and will best defend the Constitution and the Republic....

As a conservative -- I could more easily vote for a Democrat like Zell Miller than a "Republican" like Spector, McCain or Lott, etc, etc....

The Republican party has done MUCH more to leave me, and my core issues behind -- that I have done to leave the party... I'll vote for the man -- not the party..

If that results in the "party" losing -- then the party had better address the problem...

Then we will have Nancy girl, Conyers, and Rangle running the house ... no thanks. It is important that the democrat party does not take over congress .. it gives them committee chair control .... then what.

The president stands with Ted kennedy, John McCain, Harry Reid, the NYT's, and Vicente Fox. He stands with my enemies.

he made his decision, I make my mine. If the HOuse allows this through, they are dead to me. As it is the Senate can fall.

Scare tactics have long since lost their effect.

I would rather deal with a RINO then deal with a rat.

I'm sorry, but I'm not seeing a difference.

It's like standing in the sewer and trying to compare turds.

Everybody's talkin' about November, forgetting about the primaries.

If you don't have a real Republican in you district, you might consider supporting a conservative running against some of the "moderate" leadership.

Like, say, this guy, running in the primary against David Dreier.

Send him a few bucks.  In terms of making your opinion known, a twenty dollar donation is worth about four hundred phone calls to your average RINO representative.

Unfortunately in the short term, the summer time increase in demand for gas is just now starting to occur. This could cause a even greater rise in gas prices then our last peak. Some are predicting that shortages will be common this summer. Not a good start for the campaign season.

If there were any more...

*sigh*

See his book regarding a party that up and left you.

Interesting post. The followup data should be fascinating. Around here lately we must be mindful of the Elephant trainers. They have been cracking the whip lately. But regardless, we must be ready for whatever the future may hold for us Americans. Gas shortages during the summer ? Increasing terrorist activity within the U.S. ? Political Drama concerning how to handle the Open Border ? Dealing with the Insane Nuclear Mullahs of Iran ? And another deadly Hurricane season predicted ? It has the potential to be perhaps one of the worse campaign seasons ever for politicians in general.

Tony Snow will go a long way to make sure the press does not get left off the hook with the constant lies.

Bull$hit! I saw Tony Snow on the news Wed. morning drinking the KoolAide and singing the Bush party line on imigration. I used to like Tony Snow but he is way out of touch on one of the most important issues in the history of our nation; he is now persona non grat with me!

I smelled a rat when Tony was still on the radio about 6 weeks ago. I thought it was awful funny that he kept schilling for Bush's imigration policy while taking daily verbal beatings from his callers. He was getting 10 to 1 against Amnesty and remained hard headed; just like Bush. Next thing ya know ... he gets the Press Secretary Job. He sold his soul like all the rest!

How much worse can that be, from the manner in which the Republicans pissed away their "leadership" position?

Besides -- aren't you convinced the Democrats will reciprocate the sweetheart deal Sen. Lott gave them in "sharing the leadership"....

If the Republicans want to "win" -- they have to behave as winners and represent their base's interests...
Otherwise - what the hell good are they in the "leadership" position?

If the Republicans insist on being foolish patsies to the Leftists, Banana Republic assholes, Illegal Immigrants, etc, etc......perhaps returning them to minority status will focus the attention.
