Murtha is the John Kerry for this generation. I served with TF 116, so I am one of those terrible animals who committed those horrible atrocities Kerry testified to in Congress. My son is a Marine rifleman, and when he graduated I told him, "Welcome to the fraternity of lunatic, drug adicted, baby killing, fascist, pigs". Murtha and his liberal associates will use any tragedy as an opportunity to denegrate those who serve. I couldn't agree more with your comment, and believe he has earned the title of "ex-Marine".

Invite Murtha to step outside? How about asking him to step over to Iraq and confront Marines face-to-face with his outrageous slanders?
He won't do that because he is a rotten lying coward.
Who wants to bet that just prior to the Marines assualting that hose, Iraqi "insurgents" were firing from it?
It is a well-worn tactics of these terrorist scum to use women and children as human shields and to fight from building occupied buy innocent civilians.
Why? So they can score just such a propaganda coup. I would be willing to bet the entire attacke was set up for just this purpose.

Whether Rep. Murtha’s understanding of the Haditha incident is spurious or not, leaking this information demonstrates a sense of fulfillment for him. Regardless of investigation findings, he has constructed a theatrical prop to advance his agenda that our military of failed individuals is failing in prosecuting the “Three Block War” in Iraq. If the allegations are proven, they represent symptomatic behavior, and if false, then a shameful cover up occurred.
Any current or former Marine experiences deep sorrow for what may be a family tragedy. Marines understand you can be pushed to the edge just so many times, and weep for those who break, and those who needlessly die. They know how difficult maintaining values of courage, honor, and commitment are when contending against a civilian world dedicated to self. Current and former Marines support the sanctity and privacy of the investigation, and step forward to sacrifice their careers, as they have before, only when Marine Corps values are not being upheld.
Rep. Murtha’s actions validate his credentials to be considered an ex-Marine.
