Thanks, I've done that and FR and other sites show a full screen, however townhall and some others only display on half of the screen making the print very small.
So far it seems to work ok, I'm just hoping it doesen't have to be sent back.
Thanks again

"free traders" The government does something stupid and you act surprised? Funny, your solution for government stupidity is always to demand more government. Knowing your knee jerks three ways, I'm surprised you chose to to blame free trade instead of faulting Bush or illegal immigration.

I would think that all that could be done to a computer one of two ways.
#1 through the hard drive.
#2 through some preprogrammed chip that interacts with the communication ports.
I would think the best thing for any government agency of our to so would be have a central place where all computers go through for inspection.
One of the first things that should be done in turning one of these in for sale should be to remove or destroy the hard drive.
I think this doesn't have to be a problem for the good guys. :)

Sun Microsystems has recently been finding functions in chips that are not modeled in the Verilog or VHDL code that is provided to manufacturers to supposedly describe the function of chips.
Sounds like it could be a significant vulnerability.

I would think the government would pass out computers through a few regional centers to not get spied in.
We know the only way to figure out what is happening on the computer is to spy and the hard drive and if that computer goes on the net, report back to anyone via the communication ports.
The third bad thing I did NOT mention that I thought of concerning the earlier post was these computers could be chipped to track the international movements of American Agents with satelites as well.

America tried to give operating control to an Arab State. Politicians allowed the sale of a computer technology firm to commie China and now there are security issues for the users of those computers.
What else has our government allowed to be sold or operated by unfriendly nations? We know all about weapons.
What else???
Be careful what you buy.

After his early books though, all Tom Clancy's victories relied on the enemy being two dimensional, wooden and slow-witted. The Chinese aren't any of these. In fact, it's quite likely they've read his books form the look of this deal...:")
