Moore has done a lot of damage to our nation.

In that regard he is a typical New Yorker. upChuckie Schemer, Hitlery C. and the host of racist and liberal Kongresscreeps that NYC send to inflict their insane ideas on the rest of the country do far more harm to the USA than any number of smelly unwashed wackjobs hiding in caves in Afganistan.

The wackjobs can kill a few of us. The liberals from NY and other places like it can enslave us all (And they've done a pretty good job of it so far)

The current pension crisis at General Motors was born of the lavish entitlement of the United Auto Workers. Michael Moore was a comfortable beneficiary of that lush system of entitlements; he is embittered that it didn’t continue even though it was doomed from the start by its spendthrift impracticality.

It was practical and could have continued indefinitely, but only as long as American carbuyers had no alternative but to buy from the Big Three.

In essence this system of entitlements was a conspiracy between the automakers and the union to fleece the public.

Moore is a scumbag, but he isn't any different from the rest of the left. They don't care about truth other than the "metanarrative" which is that the left is going to bring "social justice" and "unlimited freedom" to the world if it ever gains power. If they have to cover up any number of inconvenient facts or abyssmal failures on their own part it doesn't matter so long as they keep the "greater truth" in focus.

Thanks for that link!
Here's the thing: In my Senior Seminar class (Which all students at my college are forced to take in order to graduate), we frequently will have to watch documentary films of various kinds. Last week, we had to watch "Supersize Me," (For those who haven't seen it, I suggest you avoid it at all costs; It's disgusting, preachy, and features a really lame soundtrack) and in a few weeks, we will be forced to watch "Roger and Me." On the first day of class, I asked my professor, who for some reason reminds me of the EPA agent from "Ghostbusters," if I could possibly skip it since I'm really not a fan of Michael Moore, and his response was something like, "Well, then, you should stay and watch it so you can talk to us about it afterwards." I already knew a good deal of dirt against "The blob" (That's my own personal nickname for Michael Moore), but I didn't really have a lot that I could use specifically against "Roger and Me." That link gave me some good ammo to use, thank you! If anyone else here knows of any other good sites that I can use to poke holes in "Roger and Me" during class, please let me know.

Last week, we had to watch "Supersize Me,"

What nonsense that movie was.

Was it just me, or did you notice something SERIOUSLY wrong with the doctor (MD) in that movie? I thought he was just saying ANYTHING they wanted him too... And why was the office "suddenly closed"? I wonder....

Chewie84,

David Hardy also had a best selling book about Moore recently called (I think)Big fat white liar!

You may also find more valuable information for your Senior Seminar at http://michaelwestfall.tripod.com/index.html

Also the University of Michigan has Westfalls papers from that era archived for posterity.

I also just read that there was a major film coming out this summer exposing Moore on all the issues including how he got started.
Good luck with your project.

DECONSTRUCTING MICHAEL MOORE

And Keith Olberman should have to clean up the dissecting table afterwards.

You don't attend Houston Baptist by any chance, do you?

I'd never heard of a Senior Seminar until I went there, and I've never heard of another school requiring them.

Get a copy of Michael Moore Is a Big Fat Stupid White Man. It'll help with most of Moore's works.
