Well, Ms Heard, please add my name to the "disturbing" list of Americans who don't believe your accusations. No one here is condoning the deaths of innocent civilians. To paint our military with the broad brush of "barbarian hordes" is ridiculous. The only reason we didn't "win" the Iraqi war in a month is because we won't tolerate needless killing of civilians. We could wrap this thing up quickly if we weren't so humane and ethical.
If you want to see "barbarian hordes", look at any Muslim country. Beheadings, amputations, honor killings, hanging of children. And don't forget suicide bombers. Is that your idea of "civilization"? Please.
