Since Sean likes country music so much, I wonder if he would want the Dixie Chicks to perform.

2006 Hannity Freedom Concert
With Country Music’s Biggest Stars

It's here! The most exciting Hannity Freedom Concert yet. It will take place on Friday, July 21 at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, New Jersey.

Featuring country music legend Hank Williams, Jr., the Freedom Concert will honor our men and women in uniform and benefit the Freedom Alliance Scholarship Fund for the children of our military heroes who have been killed or permanently disabled in service to our country.

Hank, Jr. will be joined by Lee Greenwood – whose song “God Bless the USA” is considered one of the most recognizable patriotic songs ever written – and country music star and “2006 Top Female Vocalist of the Year” nominee Sara Evans. Sara performed at the first Freedom Concert in 2003, and is returning by popular demand to sing her platinum-selling hits.

Sean Hannity will again broadcast his radio show live from the Freedom Concert and we will be joined by injured and recuperating military heroes (and their families) from our military medical institutions. We hope you will join us in treating them to a hero’s welcome as we thank them for their bravery and service to our country.

You don't want to miss the 2006 Freedom Concert.

It's interesting you mention that. I emailed Sean a suggestion that in the future he have a Freedom Concert here in Colorado at the Red Rocks Ampitheater just south of Golden. This site is one of the more spectacular venues for a concert anywhere in the USA.

Sounds like a great line-up for a fabulous event! Good on Sean's and Ollie's staffs for pulling this together again this year, but with twice the punch!

Thanks! I got the same letter a few weeks ago and ordered two tickets immediately over the phone. I have to run now, but will check that phone # and give them a call again later today to see where the tix are. I seem to recall that the rep. said the tix would take a few weeks to arrive. She said the tix will arrive via FedEx, and I'll have to sign for them. No FedEx deliveries nor notes here yet...

I met Ollie North when he came to my place of employment to film one of his War Stories segments--I asked him to sign a picture for my friend's husband in Iraq--he was kind, gracious and a real gentleman!

Just wanted to share...

Since you all seem to have been to the concert can you give me a little info? I didn't see any details on Sean's or FreedomAliance's web sites. I was thinking of driving up from Washington D.C. for a day trip. Do you know, roughly:

1) When does the concert start?
2) When does it end?
3) What's going on before the concert, the amusement park activities?
4) Do each of the three guest stars play for a while or is it just a couple of songs each? Last Sara Evans concert I went to was fantastic. She probably played 15 - 20 songs...
5) Anywhere that you know of where I can get more info?

Thanks in advance

I think I can help you out a little.

The concert usually begins about 7 PM.

It ends around 10:00-11:00 followed by fireworks.

Sean does his radio show live from Great Adventure from 3:00-6:00 PM. I am not sure if the radio show will be held inside this year or not.

If inside they have to limit the number of people watching at one time. Last year they limited the amount of time to around 45 minute blocks.

If outside get there early to get a good seat.

Each artist gets a block of time to preform usually around 5 songs each.

The concert is still going on when Hannity & Colmes comes on, so Sean does a guest segment on the show, although someone else usually hosts for Sean that day.

Try wabcradio.com or freedomalliance.org for further information.

BTW the Great One, Curtis Sliwa will be in attendence. With luck Andrew Wilcow will be doing the radio show before Seans.

Thanks mware. Just the info that I was looking for. It looks like it will be a great time. And a very late drive back...

I got my tickets on-line and printed them on the spot, f For anyone worried about tickets not arriving on time this seems to be the easiest thing to do.
