Nothing refreshes like 15 tons of snow shipped in for the San Diego Zoo's Bear Awareness Week.

Striking a pose: Nothing camera-shy about this seal in a vertical tube-like water tank connected to the aquarium of Japan's Asahiyama Zoo

PETAns, the inhabitants of PETA, are extremely ugly so they hire models to make their spectacles for them.

I couldn't find Smores Poptarts this time, altho I did find Hot Fudge Sundae, or something like that. LOL! Thanks to MozartLover I now know what beef and cheese sticks are. Hafta go looking for them.

CMS is broadening my horizons on snack stuff. I didn't know what burnt peanuts were either, but now I do. LOL!

No clearing point, just a love of our troops. You can send yourself or funnel stuff to others.

You can go to your local snail mail office and get free Flat Rate priority boxes. There are 2 different sizes. While you are there, get the bigger size customs forms and Priority labels. You can get 2" clear packing tape at the post office, but I would opt for a much bigger roll at Walmart, etc. I pack EVERYTHING, that will fit, in baggies….I know of 3 different sizes. And I line the box with a small trash can liner. You MUST tape everything, and when you are done, run more tape around the box in every direction. If you don't pack tightly, more things than normal will get smooshed. And don't forget to tape over the address label. You don't want the address to get smeared.

13.625" x 11.875" x 3.375" and 11" x 8.5" x 5.5".

Don't forget...NO CHOCOLATE!! It's the "it's too hot for chocolate" season again.

Kathy, Radu, Etc
Thanks for everything while I was in Iraq. I'm back in Fort Livingroom now, and everything is fine.

Rare Beef in Britain: Two beefsteaks lie on the steps at Peter's Hill
in London after properly attired citizens applauded the Queen's palace
guards for their esteemed service and long, courageous history.

Don't get excited, it's a parody.

Thanks for reminding me "no chocolate" because I had it in mind to send him some M&M's. Someone...I think it was Sarge...said that M&M's survive anything. But I don't think anyone wants M&M soup! LOL!

I was glad to see that everyone picked up on sending packages to our friend. Thank you for your wonderful advice to us who haven't sent many packages.

Ohhh... I have never been there. In all of the places I've been... I have to say that Alaska is my favorite place. I have been to all 50 States, and 10 Countries. Nothing compares to "The last frontier"
