When I first went to California we were treated to a day at Knott's Berry Farm; they had this old west saloon set and on the front porch was this arcade game that accepted nickles where the object was to have a shoot-out with an animated mannequin who would drawl a haunting, "Draw, pardner," and then when he had bested you would drolly say, "You lose."

I wasted a whole roll of nickles before I figured out the game didn't know how to let you win.
