The preponderance of commencement speakers at our nation's top colleges and universities were Democratic Party officials, leftist activists, and members of the old media, according to a survey released by Young America’s Foundation. The survey also uncovers separate graduation ceremonies for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgendered (LGBT) students as well as Black students.

That's fine, but anyone attending an "alternate" graduation should be barred from the regular one.

Am I the only one that noticed on Oprah's "Legends" show that all the servers were white (maybe not ALL but the majority)? And no, I usually don't watch Oprah. It was just there on the primetime when I flipped through. That caught my eye. If it had been a bunch of white "Legends" and all the servers were black I think we would have heard about it. All that to say I'm tired of this separatist attitude from everyone as they fling "you're a racist/homophobe" comments out the other sides of their mouths.

Colleges have been turned into crucibles, any conservatives coming out of them will surely be tempered while the rest will be as malleable as modeling clay.

This is so confusing. Does that amount to 2, 5, or 8 separate graduations?
Is there one graduation for the sexually 'different' and another for the black students? Or is there one each for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgendered, and black students? Or eight separate ones for black gays, other gays, black lesbians, other lesbians, etc?

Maybe we could have ours too. If you can't beat them, join them (in our own graduation ceremony). I don't have any problems with this. I think that today with many colleges split up majors why not split more. It will ultimately make the ceremonies shorter and everyone wins on that one. I know this does not sound very conservative, but I am just being honest and realistic. I just can't find it no matter how hard I think about this to have a problem with it.

Looks like the Mocha Moms organization is still going. Here is what is says on their website:

Anyway, Medved did a program on Oprah a couple of weeks ago. She's America's new spiritual leader (according to a USA Today article and her fans) if you didn't know that. Medved said he had been on her program 3 different times and on two of those occasions witnessed her seriously berating her staff. He said that if he had acted that way to any of the people that work for him, they would have quit. I guess to make up for her rage, she buys her staff off with lavish gifts. Also, the guy that used to produce Medved's sneak previews program went on to produce Oprah's program. I think he confirmed everything that Medved witnessed. IMO Oprah thinks she is a god because she has made a lot of money and people will trip all over themselves to wipe her butt. I don't buy into what she preaches. I don't like her attitude and I don't like her protege Dr. Phil either.

Somehow I managed to get three college degrees. I never attended one graduation ceremony. Too much pretension for me.

Probably a good idea to separate the sexual perverts in the interest of protecting the public health. Such a practice should extend to restrooms and living quarters as well. At least this is a start.
