Lugar's up this fall, no opponent in the primaries. Will have to vote for anyone else.

How much longer are FReepers going to continue supporting Bush and the Senate after this bill -- which Rush so rightly calls an abomination?

Senator Sessions, one of the few good guys left in the Senate, covered many of the same points in a last ditch passionate plea to his colleagues to avoid passing that stinking chunk or treason, to no avail.

It comes down to the House now. If they hold firm, possibly, just possibly, there might be hope for our Republic.

Rush is beginning to see the light. The old country-club Republicans are trying to marginalize the Reagan conservatives.
Of course, they don't care if this means the GOP becomes the "loyal opposition" because they have much more in common with the liberal Democrats than they have ever had with conservatives. Think Arlen Specter and Olympia Snowe and you get the picture.

This bill is senseless.

I agree.

I spent some time looking at the bill and I believe that Senators Specter, Hagel, Martinez, McCain, Kennedy, Graham, and Brownback should be embarrassed as to their sponsorship of it.

So who can we vote for in November?

Is there a list of conservative house/senate members and candidates somewhere? If there is, it should be posted here.

Any traitor who voted for this monstrosity should be trounced at election time.

It has come to my attention that ALL members of the JUDICIARY COMMITTEE will participate in the conference on the immigation bill..

Our battle is not with the Senators who voted on the "Senate Version" on the bill....the two bill are "oceans" apart.. with the house version being a MUCH BETTER BILL !! our battle is with the Senators who will go to conference with house.. which I just found out will be ALL MEMBERS of the Judiciary Committee and then some additional Senators yet to be named by Reid and Frist !!!...

WE NEED TO LET THESE FOLKS KNOW that we SUPPORT THE HOUSE VERSION !! NOT THE SENATE VERSION !!! now get er done !!

---> for now we can focus our efforts on the JUDICIARY COMMITTEE MEMEBERS !!!

Arlen Specter Orrin G. Hatch Patrick J. Leahy Charles E. Grassley Edward M. Kennedy Jon Kyl Joseph R. Biden, Jr. Mike DeWine Hrbert Kohl Jeff Sessions Dianne Feinstein Lindsey Graham Russell D. Feingold John Cornyn Charles E. Schumer Sam Brownback Richard J. Durbin Tom Coburn

I have written an OPEN LETTER to the conferees and I encouge EVERYONE who cares about this to do the same.... feel free to copy/edit/distribute my letter..

MY OPEN LETTER TO CONFEREES

No opposition? WTF? well, I'd still vote for him if I had no alternative(then I would shower heavily), a dem or 3rd party is not an alternative

Katherina Harris in Fla. is campaigning on securing the border first and then talking about amnesty later on.(none of them say amnesty but let's face it if it walks like a duck...)

Nope no opposision at all. He's got a huge warchest from being in the senate so long, and he hardly even bothers to come "home" to campaign anymore.

BTW: He's the Law of the Sea Treaty (L.O.S.T.) frontman and head cheerleader. He's the one who pulled it out of the circular file.

No, he's globalist RINO, he does NOT represent me, and as far as I'm concerned, I might as well vote dem or 3rd party because they'd be no different.

Good grief, man. You're pointing your anger at Rush? What the hell is wrong with you? Rush isn't an elected representative! He merely covers current events and has bemoaned the ongoing out of control illegal immigration situation on countless occasions, along with the lack of an enforcement policy.

You need to know what you're talking about before attacking the one man we can count on these days to tell us the truth, for crying out loud!!! Geeze!

Rush was the FIRST ONE to kiss Bush's ass in the 2000 primaries. He assured everyone that Bush was a conservative.

Is Limbaugh going to apologize?

What kind of crappy comment is that? Many of us got sucked into the "Bush is a conservative (although a little too compassionate) kind of guy."

It's not like we, the electorate, had much of a choice in 2000, if you remember. So, to answer your asinine comment: Rush is no more responsible for Bush's lacking in conservative credentials than you are. No one can ever be expected to predict when a politician will turn on a dime and sell their entire country out, even Rush.

Right on!

It is one thing to want a more Conservative representative.

But when it gets down to a choice between a RINO and a liberal Democrat WHACKO, I'll take the RINO until something better comes along.
