Thanks anita,

More to add and President Bush is NOT a lame duck by any definition I can think of. There is still a lot to do and he's going to keep working on it until he leaves office.

Contrary to what the media is saying (the sky is falling, the sky is falling), I believe Republicans will gain seats in both the House and Senate. As people learn what Democrats stand for, and what they don't stand for, it's going to be another win for our side.

THIS WEEK (ABC)

No doubt in my mind Tony Orlando will have more relevant and patriotic news than John (In Cold Blood) Murtha.

Ken Lay, who was doing sleep-overs in the White House. He was using the US Commerce Department to get contracts and keep competitors away. He gamed the Justice Department into leaving him alone while he and others lied about profits and investments. All done under Bill Clinton's watch and caught by the new Bush Justice Department.

Yeah, that's the guy......

I guess. I'm just ticked off with so many failing to recognize how well we are doing. I have to get off earlier today too and wanted to get it in.

It's been fun to have PM Blair here too.

My pleasure Morgan. It 's a shame that some elite conservatives take pleasure in thowing stones at the Prez along with MSM. Here 's just one example:

Elite conservative, using the MSM articles to attack the Prez.

New Media Conservative, challenging the same MSM articles, defending the Prez.

Just a little walk down the Enron memory lane: How Enron "Worked" The President This is an interesting bit of information that you don't hear much about.

A...Enron's chairman did meet with the president and the vice president in the Oval Office.

B..Enron gave $420,000 to the president's party over three years.

C..It donated $100,000 to the president's inauguration festivities.

D..The Enron chairman stayed at the White House 11 times.

E..The corporation had access to the administration at its highest level and even enlisted the Commerce and State Departments to grease deals for it.

F..The taxpayer-supported Export-Import Bank subsidized Enron for more than $600 million in just one transaction. Scandalous!!

G..BUT...the President under whom all this happened WASN'T George W. Bush. SURPRISE It was Bill Clinton!!

It's been fun to have PM Blair here too.

UK papers are claiming Bush poodled Blair again.

The problem is that Murtha has framed the story of the Marines with his expression cold blood

The WAPO helpfully went out and interviewed villagers who said the soldiers went on a ramapage.

Apparently it is SOP for Marines to go door to door after an IED attack.

I'm hoping this isn't as bad as it appears, but I don't trust our media to show any maturity, balance or restraint.

Is there any way that the Administration can ensure that their are risks involved for the media in their coverage of this as well?

Makes you just want to throw up.
I am so tired of all the Dems "culture of corruption" ranting.

Thanks!!! My point, exactly.

Enron, like most companies, donated to both parties and play the games they have to play to get ahead. The shame is the media not putting the blame where it belonged for all the years Enron (and others, like WorldCom, etc.) was getting an unfair advantage using Democrats in power.

I got tired of the complaints from people who claim they don't believe the MSM for news then turn around and use it to evaluate everything Bush is doing or has done.

Excellent post here Morgan!

Right on target! Recently I have been posting freepers here who lament over the MSM/Drive-bys not reporting the news properly, omitting our stuff, or just plain lying all the time that we need to become our own MSM. We really don't need those a-holes.

We know they lie, they spin, they basically represent the left so why get so exercised every time they do what we already expect they will do?

Let's become what we already are--The New Media. Let's concentrate on what we have to say not on the lies of the left.

Would you expect anything less from the drive-by/MSM?

No.

That is the frustrating answer to your question.
We are fighting another inssurgency right here..the MSM.
They don't play by any rules in reporting, they make it up and its not politically correct to hold them accountable.

I don't know how Bush does it, day after day.

BS.

If anything, I believe Blair enjoys the reception he gets here and plays to it. Americans are more appreciative of him and his support for the war on terror than he's getting in the UK. We don't see all the other things he does that would put a conservative off.

Did you saw the pain about abu ghraib on Prez's face on that press conf?

No body want things like that to happen. But why keep exaggerating crimes committed by a minute minority who are going to get convicted and suppress all the very best done by our soldiers?
