I know what you mean. I wouldn't do it over there, even though when I lurk there, I see guys who are doing it. Some are like streakers, totally out in the open, run across like a comet and are quickly banned.

Here, I try to read what a poster says and respond to THAT, not who I think they really are.

I'll leave smoking out the trolls to others. It is funny when one self immolates, however.

A guy I know from both here and another forum recently self-immolated here...and I wish I knew why.

For all the failings of some of the Mods (too quick to pull the trigger, somehow-inconsistent application of the rules, and acting out others' grudges,) I think FR is one of the best forums (forae??) of the web. It certainly lives up to its conservative origins, and that is how it should be. JimRob has provided us with a great forum...and a way to smack around Lefty trolls!
