Abu Mustafa, a mother of four, was shot by gunmen and male relatives on grounds that she shamed her clan. More than 15 people took part in the execution, witnesses said. It took place in the courtyard of Raffidiyeh Hospital, the West Bank's largest.

The mob originally planned to kill her in the street but were swayed by a man who pleaded with them not to carry out the killing in the view of little children could. She was then taken into the courtyard of the hospital, said Yousef Mahmoud, 18, who witnessed the killing.

"One of the gunmen said 'where is her brother?' and when he stepped forward they said to him 'you know what you need to do,"' he said. "The brother took out a gun and shot her in the head with one bullet."

Mahmoud said the brother then emptied the entire clip into the body of his sister, while the surrounding gunmen fired into the air. He said that the woman remained silent throughout and did not resist her captors.

Neighbors of the woman said she had four children; two boys and two girls, ranging in age from 11 to three and a half.

The man was shot dead in the main street of a refugee camp, with a large crowd looking on. The woman was later shot to death by her relatives in the courtyard of the West Bank's largest hospital.

The Al Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades, an offshoot of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas's Fatah movement, accused Jafal Abu Tzrur, 24, of having informed the IDF where to find three of its members. The three were killed by IDF troops during a raid on the Balata refugee camp near Nablus earlier this year.

Al Aqsa gunmen interrogated Abu Tzrur, claimed he confessed and then dragged him into Balata's main street. As a large crowd looked on, the gunmen threw Abu Tzrur to the ground, witnesses said. When he tried to get up, the gunmen killed him with several shots, the witnesses said.

The movement said it also killed Odad Abu Mustafa, 27, a Nablus woman. Abu Mustafa was married to one of the Al Aqsa men slain by Israel, and was reportedly having an affair with Abu Tzrur.

It seems pretty obvious what this was: it's classic Stalin-style terrorism.

Whether or not these people actually were spying for Israel isn't even relevant; the scumbags who killed them weren't concerned about that. What they wanted to do was publicly accuse someone of it and then execute them as a way of saying "here is what will happen to anyone who does spy for Israel, so don't do it."

The idea of a "fair trial" being given by Al Aqsa not only gives them WAY too much credit, but completely misses the point. These pieces of garbage probably knew they were killing innocent people, and didn't care. It's terrorism in its purest form.

Please don't let me near anyone who refers to "poor Palestinians" or their "plight." I don't want to get violent, and I don't want to get sick to my stomach because of the idiots who support these subhumans.

The Palestinian majority voted for these creeps, in either the Fatah or the Hamas variety. If there are any good Palestinians, they should flee somewhere else quickly.

Another thought. Let's be smart about this.

It seems probable that this was really just a killing stemming from sexual jealousy of a husband. The whole accusation of spying was a convenient pretext.

Either way, though, the Palestinians are worse than barbarians. Most barbarians are most admirable.

It was a routine honor killing with political connotations:

Mistress killed for informing on husband

Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades execute secret lovers suspected of tipping IDF on mistress' husband; group's 'interrogation' reveals woman wanted her husband killed so she could have open relationship with lover

Two Palestinians suspected of collaboration with the Israel Defense Forces were killed in a gangland-style execution in Gaza's Balata refugee camp on Tuesday, witnesses said.

The two, a married woman and her lover, reportedly admitted to informing the IDF on the movements of a number of senior Fatah officials, who were assassinated by Israel over the last five years of violence.

A senior Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades official told Ynet the two admitted they had cooperated with Israel during interrogations which lasted two days.

"We issued a death sentence for the man, Mahmoud Jafala, and shot him dead before everyone, so they understand we are determined to continue investigating, finding, and assassinating everyone involved in passing on information to the enemy and aid in assassinating our heroes," the official said.

Al-Aqsa, Fatah's military wing, said Waida Abu Mustafa admitted to having informed on her husband, an al-Aqsa activist nicknamed Abu Khamis, who was assassinated by Israel.

The group said the woman wanted her husband killed in order to live with her lover.

In accordance with her family's demand, Waida was killed by her brother. Al-Aqsa gunmen were asked to have her killed by a family member to avoid unwanted Israeli attention over the assassination of an informant, the official said.

Notice how the savages found a purpose for the hospital that's the antithesis of what a hospital is supposed to be used for. Small wonder that so many Palis prefer going to Israeli hospitals for legit medical treatment when Pali hospitals and surrounding grounds are used for things like this.

Palestinians don't execute actual spies for Israel. They declare an ideological, political, or economic rival an Israeli spy and then have him killed. An old totalitarian tactic for eliminating the competition.

Actually I've heard from very reliable sources that both Palestinian Authority Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh and President Muhammed Abbas are providing the Israeli Defence Forces with almost daily information. In return their bank accounts in a well known Swiss bank are growing and growing.

What they wanted to do was publicly accuse someone of it and then execute them as a way of saying "here is what will happen to anyone who does spy for Israel, so don't do it".

This was very similar to a classic Stalinist show trial. These trials were publicly held with great publicity to convince the population that they are infiltrated by enemy agents who have finally been caught and confessed. The enemy agents were shot immediately after the show trial. The message is to 'be afraid, be very afraid'.

How Stalinist, so the two had confessed to spying for five years previously. And they both confessed after two days of Al-Aqsa interrogations.

Stalin could put old leading Bolsheviks in the Lubyanka and they'd come out swearing they'd done the most unbelieveable things for 'enemies of the state' - particularly if they had beloved spouses and young children that would be punished if they didn't 'confess'.

I think you pretty much nailed it. The only difference between the Al Aqsa tactics and the Stalinists is NO trial as opposed to SHOW trial. That makes the Soviets of that era better propagandists, but just as savage.

Has Jerusalem Post changed the name of this article? I see it as Al Aksa kills suspected collaborators.

The altered title misses the significance of the Al Aksa Martyrs Brigade, since this group is controlled by the so-called "nice" Fatah, as opposed to the "not-nice" Hamas.

It's terrorism in its purest form.

The lesson is enhanced if the executed man is innocent of the crime.

You see, if So-and-So, whom nobody ever suspected was found out, then the security apparatus would surely be able to detect anything anybody else might do that was counter-revolutionary.
