June 1, 2006 -- A "happily married" suburban soccer mom carried on a sick love affair with a 16-year-old neighbor and was busted only after she gave him an eye-popping token of her amour - a $35,000 Mercedes, investigators said yesterday. Lisa Frodella had trysts with her young paramour in her Long Island home, her car and in hotels, police said yesterday.

Frodella, 39, of Carle Place, would even call the boy's high school "pretending to be his mother, and say he was sick" so the pair could have sex during school hours, Nassau Detective Lt. Kevin Smith said.

Frodella, described by neighbors as a "dirty blonde" with the eloquence of a "truck driver," lives on Rushmore Avenue with her husband and their two daughters, ages 14 and 15, who are also students at nearby Carle Place HS, sources said.

Smith said the statutory rape came to light on April 24, when the teen -now 17 - arrived home in a flashy, souped-up black 2002 Mercedes-Benz S430.
