President George W Bush says: "I am troubled by the initial news stories. I am mindful there is a thorough investigation going on. If in fact laws were broken there will be punishment."

What's scary is there are some folks, including some on this very ping list, that are deeply upset by Dubya, in their words, being gutless and/or selling out our Marines.

Let's think for a minute. Does anyone here want a POTUS that would not find the execution of a 3-year old girl and her family troubling? I sure don't. There are a lot of questions surrounding this case, but her and her family are dead. The President recognizes an ongoing investigation or two, and recognizes no charges have been filed and no verdict of guilt assigned.
