.....Worried villagers in recent days have performed rituals aimed at warding off an eruption....

elders are worried however, an absence of sacrifical virgins means the rituals have not been performad as in days of yore. It seems all the virdins are now in Paradise tending to suicide bombers.

Those people do not need tents. They need U-Hauls to un@ss the area. If we give them food and tents, we will be blamed when they get vaporized. They need to leave. How come all of the Islamic nations are not helping them? Oh yeah, it's the will of allah for the people to be destitute and hopeless while the elites live high on the hog.

"...it's the will of allah for the people to be destitute and hopeless while the elites live high on the hog."

LOL!

A little islamic humor there, eh?

Actually, I tend to think of this as a sort Darwinian selection process, during which those too stupid to move a way from an active volcano get moved to the very shallow end of the gene pool.

Completely and totally off the wall. No facts, no geology, no geography, no social data, no economic data, no nothing.

Obviously the volcano isn't obeying the Kyoto Protocol.

Is it just me, or does God really have it out for Indonesia?

Tsunami, earthquakes, bird flu, volcano, what's next?

Yep. Just an obvious ploy to extort more money from the civilized world. I do not buy it. If they need umpteen $Million, they need to talk to the Saudi's and the UAE. Maybe Mexico can send some of their Marines.
