I was reminded, when I attended Dr. Keyes speech in Tulsa, of the crowds who came to see Patrick Henry or Richard Henry Lee in the Revolutionary era. He's an incredible speaker, very much in the style of our Founders, in his moral beliefs, his use of the Bible in speaking, and in his oratorical brilliance.

If we want immigration laws that are effective, we must have control of our borders, so that the only people who come in come in on the terms of our law. If you argue about the terms before you secure the border, I suspect you're lying to us. And I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Leaders with the track record our leaders have right now had better not expect us to "trust them" when they tell us they're really serious about border security. I don't trust them one bit, and I don't think anybody else will.
Man, I miss Alan.

I've had the pleasure of hearing him several times in recent weeks, and his message just seems to be clearer and stronger than ever.
The twenty minute speech he gave to the Minutemen on the AZ border last week was amazing.
I'm hoping Renew America posts that one before long.
It was electrifying.

I'll bet. It's been many years since I lived near the border, but I remember the heat and the dry air. (And that delicious Mexican food sold out of shacks, and God knows what was in it :-).

One another program though Sister Angelina said on the abortion figures:

I have never watch Perry Mason but it came on after our morning Local news show.
Perry was interviewing a Priest who in turn gave Perry the history of how the Franciscan Friars started.
I thought God Lord what was said in that old Perry Mason show would be banned from the script of todays tv.
Alan Keyes is right on so many points.
I was born in a time (really the cusp) that I had a glimpse of a hard working moral American families then it all seem to go Love American Style (old tv show) around 1970 with divorce, drugs, abortion, lewdness and any other distasteful moral issue that could be put up on a pedestal for worship.
